We had a wonderful stay at Flusco Wood in the Carlton Signature Lodge. The lodge comfortably accommodated our group of 3 adults, 1 child, and our 7 month old puppy. The furniture and fittings were incredibly comfortable, making our stay cosy and relaxing. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub, which provided a great way to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The park itself was well-maintained and tidy. The enclosed dog field was a fantastic addition, allowing our puppy to run freely and play without any worries. The only suggestion we have is the addition of a small shop or cafe on site for quick snacks or essentials.Overall, our stay at Flusco Wood was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfort of the accommodation, the hot tub, and the park facilities. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway.

Superb lodge with all mod-cons and the most comfortable bed! 2 bathrooms always a good thing and the likes of a Smart TV, nespresso coffee maker, and BOSE speaker shows the quality of these Lodges!

Lodge was fantastic. The only thing I had to complain about was the TV remote had a broken button, this was swapped right away. Hot tub was great but could be doing with a little skimmer net for you to fish the leaves ect out that fall in during the day. Beds were comfy and the lodge was warm and cozy.

Really happy with our choice of lodge.Beautiful comfortable lodge..We’re a family of four with 2 teenagers, the twin room was lovely and spacious with its own separate en suite, kids weren’t on top of each other so no bickering over space!Loads of storage in both bedrooms.Kitchen had everything we needed for self catering.Smart tvs in living room and the double bedroom.Nice sized bathrooms, no bath but lovely big shower.Decks at both sides with table to sit out and everyone loved the hot tub.Perfect home away from home

Great lodge, really spacious. A few areas could do with upgrading or fixing, mould in shower, dent in door, however we were in a pet friendly lodge and I imagine the turn over and work that goes into these lodges will be much more. There was nothing that would prevent us coming back and it was still a really lovely lodge and we were all delighted to be there. As we were there for 5 days we could have done with an extra set of towels each though I’m sure if we asked they would have changed them.

Sometimes the pictures look better than when you actually see it in person, but WOW this time it was better in person. Absolutely beautiful views, spacious living space we stayed in ‘Lark’ with alot of privacy for the hot tub. Kitchen with all the necessary equipment you need. we will definitely be returning it was so peaceful.Perfect for couples

The rural where we stayed was very spacious and well kitted out and perfect for the dogs. It had a few stains on the sofas as you would expect for a dog friendly lodge but these were covered by throws that were provided. The kitchen was brilliant and the bathrooms also. I would recommend this lodge for people staying with pets.

We booked this holiday purely just so the dog could have a getaway experience with us and he loved it. So many lovely walks nearby including the onsite walk to Greystoke. We also enjoyed our part of the holiday, the hot tub was high enough for us to relax without having to worry about the dog trying to get in as he wandered around the decking. The staff were also very welcoming. The lodges were close enough to Penrith that if we needed any extra bits and pieces we could just drive through to get them ourselves. We will definitely be back!

Lovely lodge and hot tub, really nicely decorated and was very clean. Few things that would be nice is a washing machine actually included in the lodge and a large brush to sweep up the floor with. The stairs outside were very slippy in the weather conditions and I did end up slipping down the stairs as the stairs are also slightly sloped down instead of being flat. All in all would stay again.

Lovely lodge but I think small lamps in the lounge area would be useful. It was either the main lights or nothing. Would have appreciated a pint of milk or a welcome ‘something’ ? Found clothes left behind by previous occupants in bedroom drawers too. Went with a small dog and other lodges I have stayed at had a dog bowl, bed & little treats. Not important but a nice touch.

The Lodge is perfect, clean and has everything you need to prepare meals. The hot tub was checked everyday, our only thing was when people walked past the end of the decking they could see us, maybe a privacy fence, the same that is around the tub, would be better., at the end of the decking. The bed was super comfy, we didn’t use the twin room so can’t comment. Plenty of storage in the whole of the lodge, never had that before in a lodge. A couple of negatives but it didn’t affect our stay, no stool in the main bedroom for the dressing table but there was one in the twin, the bedside lamps were full of dust in the main bedroom and in the lounge area a couple of small lamps would be an added bonus the only choice is the main lights which are quite bright. The park is quiet and is ideal for Keswick, Penrith and Ullswater. We also visited Lowther Castle after a recommendation from the Flusco Wood website, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall a perfect stay and would book it again. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble always ready with a smile.

Very enjoyable stay, the site itself is absolutely pristine and quiet. The lodge was superb, clean and with decent Wi-Fi and facilities. It is quite isolated and nothing much within walking distance though Pooley Bridge and Penrith are 10 minutes away by car with Keswick not much more than 15. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
Only one issue with the lodge itself, the walk in shower although excellent could do with a non-slip mat or some form of anti-slip surface added - it could be dangerous if care isn’t taken.

The only thing I can fault is the cleaners should have an inventory checklist as it stated we get tea/sugar etc on arrival but we didn’t? Also we didn’t have a bottle opener but thankfully Carol bought one down.

Lovely site, nice and peaceful with lots of places to explore close by

4 night stay Mon to Friday - family of 3.
We had booked a Gobarrow lodge but were offered an upgrade to an Askham Wood lodge before we arrived.
Staff very helpful and informative and check in was very quick and easy.
The Park location is good only 6 miles from J40 M6 and is very well maintained and secure.
Our lodge was very clean, fresh and modern and had everything we needed (and more) for our stay.
The decked areas and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after long days out.
We booked a Sainsburys grocery delivery to the site for 6.30pm( no issues) the nearest local convenience store is based at the Esso petrol station at the Rheged centre about 3.5 miles away - great for odd things you may have forgot to bring with you!!
Places to go:
Pooley Bridge/Ullswater only 5 miles away. Take the boat trip to Glenridding (not cheap) well worth it for the fantastic views.
Can also try paddle boarding there with Alfresco adventure - hire board and wet suit.
Dalemain House is about 5 miles away and is worth a visit, the gardens are lovely, nice tea room and really good tour guides.
Rheged centre is really good, nice cafe with a good choice of food and drink. We also went to the cinema there - 2 screens and latest movies very good value for money
Keswick - lovely town, lots of shops and places to eat and you can walk around Derwent water which is really nice.
Flusco Wood gets a 10/10 from us.

Had a great break in a lovely lodge ( very modern and clean and with a fabulous hot tub ). We were in the Kingfisher so fairly private setting . Will be back !

We stayed In Cabin Penrith. The Cabin was spotless so was the hot tub. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning! The dog also thoroughly enjoyed himself! Thank you ?

Initially booked the wrong accommodation wasn’t until the week before we noticed. I contacted them and they was able to change my accommodation thankfully. I would like to thank all the staff at flusco and a special thank you to Chloe. You went above and beyond.
Grant
Lovely holiday home. Very clean and comfortable. I would only say the location of the hot tub is a bit disjointed. More than enough room on the decking which would allow those using the tub to interact with those not using it.
Kim
Great place to stay for a quiet getaway. Hot tubs and accommodation clean . Had a lovely time away ?
