The lodge is modern bright clean and well equipped in a perfect location in the park .It was in a totally private spot and we enjoyed the antics of the visiting squirrels one of whom practically knocked on the door not to mention the birdsong which was spectacular. The undercover hot tub was brilliant even used it in the rain !

As per my previous comment this accommodation is not value for money you are paying for the park facilities. The lodge is very basic, second shower is useless, the kitchen is so basic you can't cook in it, the heating cannot be controlled so we were freezing one minute boiling the next and hot tub was too cold, a lot of it seemed to be cost saving but it took the enjoyment out of the lodge for us.

Could do with new sofas x

Nice and spacious, lovely view from the decking and nice to hear the sound of the birds when you open the windows! Very well equipped kitchen too

Beautiful place

Overall good, no coffee machine and not much storage, No dressing table to get ready or any where to put make up/toiletries.

The cabin was lovely and clean and had everything we needed.

Great accommodation - well laid out and in a good location. Couldn’t fault it.

Lovely - I’d just add a bath mat that isn’t white!

My only moan would be about not having anywhere in the bedroom to dry my hair. There is only a mirror in one of the bedrooms.

The lodge has everything you need for a break away. The sofa could maybe do with changing as it sags a bit in the corner but it is still comfy

We stayed in a lodge over half term. The lodge was exceptionally clean with nice linen and fluffy towels. The kitchen was well appointed. Oven immaculate! There is a small pack of washing up liquid and a cloth/sponge and dishwasher tablets which was handy.The lodge’s felt slightly dated as they had a CD player and radio alarm clock etc so maybe an upgrade to a Bluetooth speaker etc would be good, also USB plugs would be a good addition. The TV was quite small but easy enough to work out how to connect to stream to etc.

Lodges were lovely and clean with decent facilities. Only benefit I see would be the ability to request two double beds rather than twin, due to staying with my mother who struggled to push the two singles together. A few items under the furniture which hadn't been moved before hoovering. But otherwise great stay.

As dog owners we feel like we were given 2nd best.Dog hairs on floor & furniture. Flooring needs repairs, deep clean.

Lovely warm lodge but not well sound insulated. Thin wall and rain heard loudly on roof?

I am tall so most of the lounge furniture is low.All facilities are here within the cabin. Location on the last visit wasn't for us as too close together overlooked by neighbours. Hope to book direct again soon ????We are in Ashbourne next.

Only down side was double bed was a bit too squishy mattress topper wise, but this is personal preference

Nice lodge a bit dated but had everything we needed comfortable bed and nice big bathroom with separate shower cubicle

Overall everything i needed/wanted from darwin & the cabin, highly recommend, the elite lodge covers all you need in sauna/jacuzzi as in the bath instead of the tub outside ,ace

Wouldn’t know any other dogs had been in the lodge, it was spotless.

Loved it, great facilities, and on site restaurant great, good food and friendly staff.
