Comfortable, friendly, great location

Really enjoyed our visit, can't wait to come back!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was a lovely place to unwind. The decor was classy and everything was super clean, which made us feel really comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed, which was perfect. The sofas and mattresses were comfy too. The only downside was not being able to watch DVDs or access our streaming services, which my teens missed. On the bright side, the WiFi was excellent and kept everyone happy!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was perfect for a quick family getaway, exactly what we needed. Great experience!

The lodge was surprisingly roomy, especially the kitchen and outdoor terrace. Nice TV and free WiFi too.

Really enjoyed the trip overall

We stayed at this park recently and honestly, the quality of the accommodation really stood out. It’s quite convenient if you’re heading to that part of Kent - about 15 minutes to Canterbury and between 30 to 50 minutes to some lovely beaches, which is perfect for a day out. The location is peaceful, nestled among farm fields, so if you’re after a lively village scene, this isn’t it. Sadly, there are no walking or running routes nearby, so you’ll definitely need to drive everywhere - no options for a quick stroll or jog. We noticed quite a few folks expecting to find somewhere to walk or grab a snack within walking distance, but it’s pretty much drive-only. No pubs, shops, or even a corner shop nearby, so a car is pretty much essential for everything. Still, the quality of the place makes up for it!

Even with a few tiny issues, we’d happily come back again for sure.

We stayed at this lodge recently and really enjoyed it. The location is great, just a quick 10-minute drive into Canterbury and not far from Whitstable either. Our only gripe was the terrace being pretty shaded most of the time and those pesky wasps. Would’ve loved to sit outside more-still, a lovely place overall!

We had a lovely holiday overall, but the lodge was a bit too hot for our liking. After a day out, we’d have to open all the doors and draw the blinds to cool down. A few fans would’ve made things much more comfortable! Definitely still enjoyed it though.

Great stay, but could use more on-site options

We had a lovely time staying here. The lodges are really spacious and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. You definitely need a car to get around, but it’s a great spot if you want peace and quiet. Good base for exploring Ramsgate, Margate, Canterburyand beyond. Would recommend!

Overall, the lodge itself was spotless, which was nice. However, the outdoor balcony was a different story - it was pretty grim with old bird poo everywhere and the table and chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. I ended up having to tidy it up myself before using. I get that the place hadn’t been used for a while, still, it was disappointing. Would’ve been nice if it was a bit cleaner outside.

The bed's wooden base was a real eyesoreand the kitchen blind was broken, so it couldn't be lifted. Apart from that, we did enjoy the stay though!

Could really have used a blower for the outdoor leaves, honestly.

We recently stayed here and honestly, the peace and quiet was such a breath of fresh air compared to the hustle and bustle of Canterbury. It’s perfect if you're after some relaxation but still want the option to explore a town rich in history. The lodges are super comfyand you can choose how much you want to interact with the staff - no pressure at all. Check-in at 4pm felt a bit late, especially since we arrived earlier, but I guess they need time to get everything readyand they did a great job cleaning each lodge thoroughly. The only thing I missed was a wok in the kitchen; the hob had a wok ring, but no wok itself. As someone who loves cooking and often plans themed dinners, it would've been handy, especially for Chinese night. Overall, a lovely spot with just a small tweak needed for food prep. We’d definitely come back!

Really impressed, would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic lodge spacious, modern and clean. The site is well cared for and well thought out. Our lodge was for two people so cutlery was at a minimum only 2 teaspoons and knifes and forks too few as if you want to use the dishwasher you have to keep washing up as well. Otherwise great, we would visit again.

The accommodation is lovely

Lovely peaceful weekend away with my fiancé and 11 month old cockapoo. Only downfall we stayed in the lodge during a heatwave (which is out of there hands) which made the lodge very hot and no aircon

The lodge was fantastic peaceful good for the time of year can not ask for much more second time staying here and happy both times a massive thank to the staff on site and also really clean in side and there was nothing we did not need as it was all there definitely will come back to this amazing place thanks for having us

We have been staying at Canterbury Reach a couple of times a year for a few years and always have an amazing time , perfect location to travel out to beaches, villages with wonderful scenery

A lovely peaceful setting and the lodge was well equipped and very comfortable (a few minor niggles but nothing to spoil the holiday). The staff were excellent - very helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely consider a return visit here.

Sherrie was an absolute star. We were there for a family wedding, bride let from Canterbury Lodge. Had 5 lodges so lots of us but nothing too much trouble for Sherrie. Certainly would return

We absolutely cannot fault Canterbury Reach Lodge Retreat. The park was clean, tidy and quiet with parking near the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

Great site very peacefull. Lodge very comfortable and clean could do with an outside umbrella in the sun though!
