Fabulous place to stay to get out and explore the surrounding nature

wonderful relaxing holiday away from it all. Just what we needed.

The static caravan is very well looked after, clean and stylish. We could cook and store food in the fridge, and had lovely meals inside.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very modern & very spacious we had such a good time.

Lovely comfortable lodge, could do with mirrors in bedrooms and towel rail in bathroom, small well kept park, with lovely views of hills, great for exploring.

Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!

Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

Lovely cottage. Great location for us. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great hot tub . Lovely helpful non intrusive owners. They have it just right!

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time in Goddard Mead. The cottage was very complete and there were walks on the doorstep. The welcome and stay was very warm. The owners are lovely people.

Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The hot tub was perfect after a day of cycling! One thing to be aware of, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, and so there's a lot of aircraft noise. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. Stayed here for a week from 15 to 22 July with our 2 mini daschund girls who thoroughly enjoyed there stay making new friends in the village of thaxted. Lovely lodge accommodation everything new, owner showed use around the accommodation explained everything very quite site no children.

The site is so peaceful and very relaxing. A little out the way but we liked being away from everything.

A lovely quiet site with beautiful views. The caravan was clean and spacious and had a lovely outside seating area. The staff on site were very helpful and gave us a call before we arrived. There was a lovely walk alongside the river just a couple of minutes from the site. We are looking forward to returning next year!

We had a lovely stay, the owner- Carol was very helpful and looking into every detail to make us feel comfortable. We had a lovely time, going for walks in the surrounding areas, taking the car for between 7 to 60 minutes to go to "must see" places nearby. Also, as the holiday park is not too big, we were private and quiet. The only thing that I would comment on is the noise from the train passing from time to time, but overall this did not disturb much.
