Beautiful caravan , well equipped, lovely welcome packAnd even treats for the dog. Very spacious although little lacking in storage but just kept things in case .Shower great .Warm and Cosy.Needs an instruction guide for tv as it wasn’t tuned into Freeview only worked this out on last day .Loved being able to sit on verandah and great the dog was fenced in .No real negatives other than quite close to neighbouring van and unfortunate they had a noisy toddler .Will definitely book again

Everything we needed for a break away.Caravan was spotless really comfortable and value for money.We found it really comfortable and dog friendly.

Wi-Fi in the caravan was superfast, quicker than our internet at home! Van was spotless, well equipped with nice welcoming touches - tea, coffee, biscuits, and some kitchen essentials.

Spotless new caravan, a bit basic but excellent for the price.

Caravan was immaculate, and additions such as tea/coffee, washing up stuff and towels were a nice addition that we don't usually get when we've booked caravans elsewhere

It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

Lovely cottage. Great location for us. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great hot tub . Lovely helpful non intrusive owners. They have it just right!

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. The bed is really comfortable. The garden is secluded; dog proof and with good furniture. There are numerous walks around. Thaxted has good restaurantRead mores. We liked The Star and The Maypole. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Sharon and Robert were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable and secure for our dog Archie. Stayed here for a week from 15 to 22 July with our 2 mini daschund girls who thoroughly enjoyed there stay making new friends in the village of thaxted. The cottage is lovely especially the hot tub a bonus as it was the hottest days of the year so the water was coolled so it was more refreshing the hosts were very welcoming was nice to see there hoRead morerses being taken to the fields each day you are on the flight path near stansted but I enjoyed watching the planes come in would definitely recommend Hide

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location. Ideal to escape and relax. Hot tub was amazing and the cottage was immaculate with everything you needed. Lots of walks close by and within the village reach. Had such a wonderful time. Couldnt recommend enough.

wanted a dog walking break, absolutely perfect. quality accommodation, pubs and restaurants a 10 minute walk away, miles of fields and off road walks, the dog would not get in the car to come home.

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at Goddards Mead. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and despite being on a working farm it felt like a little tranquil haven.

Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!
