Lovely place in a good area, very peaceful and close to the beaches and not far from padstow. Only criticism is that it could do with slight up date as it gets a ‘old' feel and it does have a old smell to the house, definitely could do with a spray or a diffuser prior to people staying. As it's a pet friendly accommodation, the settee and chairs was covered in dog hairs which really put me off. We took our three month old baby with us and we needed to use the microwave and dishwasher for sterilising and there was still a dirty plate in the microwave so I felt un easy the place was not cleaned up to standard. Overall nice break but could do with double checking the cleaning and making it smell more appealing

We had a fantastic stay! Stayed 4 nights, villa was lovely and modern with absolutely everything you needed! Couldn't hear anyone in the villa next door and having the big windows were lovely to open in the mornings for fresh air!

Had a fab week at bay retreats for Christmas the only thing that could have made it better would have been a rug in the living room area only as we have 2 young children who like playing with cars on the floor and it’s laminate and was so noisy and I felt like they couldn’t play properly as didn’t want to disturb next door. There was quite a few bulbs that had gone in the villa that needed replacing we didn’t mention it to staff as it was Christmas period and did without using other lights. The washing machine was a fab added bonus with having 2 young children it’s a nightmare normally going on holiday😊

Clean, well equipped and very well presented, well looked after both inside and out and a nice quiet private setting. Really enjoyed our say & the accommodation was comfortable. Really helped us feel relaxed.

Beaches near by are the best i've seen in , clean lots of rock pools. Overall very good. Great holiday.

A welcomed break much needed -especially as able to have our dog with us which meant no kenneling fees required (apart from the £30 surcharge for her).

Bay Retreat Villa gave us spacious clean accommodation which greatly contributed to a relaxed, peaceful and stress free experience. Would definitely return.

We took this holiday to get away for a quiet break but we wanted to be close enough to padstow and the surrounding areas this was the ideal base. The accomadation was first class clean comfy the park facility's were more than adequate for our need's as a couple. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay soon, BRILL HOLIDAY thanks Bay Retreat Villa's.

Kitchen equipped with enough utensils so if you want to cook you can. Tesco store nearby for provisions. Some scuff marks of walls but nothing to worry about; front door could have done with some adjustment as it was difficult to close.

Lovley holidays. The second time we go in this houses. We like it. Great location and staff are very helpful. A few thinks can be made nice in the house. The bath plug don't work in the bath and some tiles are cracked and silicon are off. But over all we love it. We will come back for next year.

Everything we could need there! Clean & modern. We didn’t deal with any staff so can’t rate them really. Good location. We didn’t use on site restaurant.

If I had to choose something to dislike it was the fact that the blinds in the bedroom didn't keep out all the light, but I think that's more due to the type of windows they are

Good location, clean, had everything you need for a break.

Lovely clean villa and very well equipped on a nice and quiet site. You will need a car to get anywhere as could not get a taxi and we tried various different cab firms and only two buses a day. Reported a jammed blind cord on the 2nd day and no-one came to repair, but this did not cause us a problem.

The villa was very clean. Facilities offered such as tea towels, towels, washing machine/dryer were excellent. If the villa did lack anything, the I would say that a pair of oven gloves would be handy. Location wise, it's at St Merryn holiday park. The Venue, the on-site restaurant is superb. They do great pizzas for dining in or taking out. There is a convenience store on site too. The village St Merryn isn't far with a shop and a couple of takeaways. It's a few miles from the famous 'seven bays', Constantine, Trevone, etc: so it's perfect. It's also few miles from Padstow, ideal for shopping, restaurants and Tesco. I'd recommend it.

Lodge was lovely and clean, lots of facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster. Balcony was great as the weather was warm. The on site club was good, cocktails and pizzas.
