We had a fabulous 3 night stay in The Pines. It’s a lovely lodge with everything you could need a more, topped off with the bonus of a hot tub.

This accommodation was in a great location for exploring and using as a base to visit the lakes, It should be described as “lodge style” instead of lodge as Its basically a caravan on steroids - very comfy but thin walls and small doors just like a caravan. I will say though it has a dressing table and mirror in 2 of the bedrooms which is a big yes from me! The hot tub was the best one we’ve ever had in any accommodation and we normally do about 2 a year, also the kitchen was the best we’ve ever had too. welcome pack was nice added touch. Plenty of towels, There is road noise from the A66 but you get used to it.We did have a great stay and I would return

We loved it there - family of 4.Found the lodge and the site to be very relaxing and slowed the pace down ! Didn’t venture far which suited us. Have 2 dogs and they seemed to enjoy it to especially when then spotted a rabbit! Lodge was very clean and spacious and very warm too!

The lodge was spacious and had everything you need and more for a relaxing break.

Tons of wardrobe and drawer space.Fully fitted kitchen whith every utensil you can think of.The hot tub with the added led screen was perfect.

Great time . Lovely scenery and wildlife. Great for nervous dogs our girl was so chilled. Definitely be back.

A very quiet location not far to Barnard Castle ,Appleby and M6This was our second visit dog friendly too The lodge was spotless would definately recommend

Whole lodge needs updating

Great little place, lovely wildlife. Great lodge and hot tub. There is some road noise if your out on the decking or in the hot tub but when your inside it’s quite. Gorgeous surroundings and place to visit.

Great comfy lodge everything you need, beautiful seroundings

With two very comfy leather sofas, a large tv and a fully equipped kitchen the facilities at this lodge are excellent. The central heating is excellent and able to increase and decrease the temperature makes for a very happy time.Three large well equipped bedrooms complete the facilities and, while the en suite bedroom could do with a replacement mattress, it did not detract from our enjoyment of the holiday.

A lovely place to stay ideal for walking in the lakes and north Pennines. I stayed in the S-pod which is ideal for solo stays as well as for couples. The pod is smart and well equipped with a kitchen, hob, sink, grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The main living area consists of a sofa which transforms to the pull down double bed, a TV, DVD player and plenty of storage. Through the door is a well fitted clean bathroom with a powerful shower. Outside the decking faces the lovely stream and is equipped with a table and a couple of chairs. Ideal for outside dining after good long walk.The park has holiday units of all sizes for bigger parties and some have hot tubs. A lovely stay and very nice owners.

We stayed in the pet friendly Elms Lodge. There was a lovely welcome pack which was very pleasing. However this did not detract from the awful “cheesy or dirty mop” smell in the living and kitchen area.The separate WC flooded each time it was flushed. We reported this and it was presently turned off so we were unable to use it further. We did have a pleasant stay, the bed was comfortable and kitchen facilities were good, just a shame about the previously mentioned issues.

A great little pod,very clean and will equipped.Great location for exploring the surrounding countryside or just relaxing in the outdoors watching the red squirrels and rabbits.

Have already booked to go back.

We had a nice quiet week, we intended to have a lazy week and we got it.

Excellent accommodation, really clean and well stocked with everything you could need

We had a nice relaxed holiday site was quiet. Easy accessible to get around to visit castles and quaint little town to pick up shopping. Information book in the lodge was very helpful with places to visit nearest shops etc. Definitely return in the near future.

Holly Lodge was perfect for our needs. The welcome pack was a great feature.

Lovely lodge with great furnishings - everything you could need for a home from home. The little welcome box was a wonderful touch to make sure you had some necessities on arrival. The Elms was lovely and clean, ready for us to head in right on time. Perfect stay.

Was a lovely holiday we went first time in may we liked it that much went back in June and the weather was lovely we will be going back
