Comfy beds and very well equipped kitchen. Big tv and sofa. Nice shower with plenty of hot water.

The whole weekend was fabulous, we loved the lodge and the facilities on site. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend Ashlea Pools as a place to stay. The lodges are lovely and comfy and very well equipped. The hot tubs are well maintained and the site as a whole is well cared for. There is a great little cafe there and at night becomes a pizzeria (4 nights a week)The staff are helpful, friendly and deal with any issues promptly and without fuss. We have now been twice and are looking forward to a third visit ????

We stayed in a clean cabin, equipped to a good standard on a well maintained site. It was fairly quiet, apart from noticing the odd train passing next to the site 2-3 times per day.A couple of things that I wasn't so keen on: the TV signal seemed to be temperamental so I was glad we had brought our own Amazon fire stick with us. Wi fi costs £6 per day, which I thought was a bit much to charge for it on top of what we had already paid for the cabin - it should be included as standard.Pizzas from the pizzeria cost around £15 each. That's an expensive tea. Stopping the pizza topping from divorcing the pizza base was quite a challenge.There's a list of things that we would have been charged extra for if we didn't adhere to certain rules, including taking our rubbish to the communal bin (again, it should be included in the cost).Up to 3 weeks to return the damages deposit. Really?Had an OK time, and an opportunity to chill out, but the extra £ things irritated me a bit.

totally amazing weekend

Part of our party had to return home, after paying for Wi-Fi it was unusable, someone did come to our lodge but had no answers. Kitchen utensils needed a good overall. Only one shelf in the oven same for the fridge Hot tub was spotless

As a family we hired 2 lodges, the lake view and Goldcrest. Both lodges suited our needs perfectly. My son has been before, this was my first time but will not be my last.

Bed was a little firm for us but that is personal taste

Vip says it all the this was a fabulous and exclusive feel to the cabin filled with high end fixtures and bedding. kitchen ware was superb and everything needed to cook meals or eat out at the pizzeria and cafe on site walk in shower and bathtub in the centre of the bedroom area adding the vip feel of Luxury touches Spacious living room area Absolute stunning

Lovey cabin and felt super cosy! Our TV had very random channels like 4 sets of itv but no CBeebies for our daughter but that wasn’t anything major as we didn’t watch it much on our stay anyways, if we paid for the wifi it might have all connected and worked properly. There wasn’t any coffee/tea/milk sachets on arrival which maybe a little feedback for the future as we didn’t have our morning tea/coffee but that is kinda our fault for not being more prepared ????

Great place to stay we’ve been going for a few years now & booked again for next year already ????Lodges are so clean & tidy & everything you could think of to enjoy your weekend. Welcome basket this year was a very nice touch ???? We love the hottub but in these autumn/winter months maybe a cover/gazebo could be put over them so could still use them when raining (just a suggestion) We can’t wait to return next year ????

Absolutely stunning lodge and location. Spotlessly clean (I used to be an air bnb cleaner and couldn’t fault it). Brilliant atmosphere, staff super helpful. Facilities are excellent with nearby shops or cafe on site that has every essential item that you may need. Lodge has everything you may need for cooking, cleaning etc. We are two over worked nhs nurses who desperately needed time to rejuvenate and that’s exactly what we got. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Our VIP lodge was spotlessly clean, as was the hot tub. We were given lovely, white robes to wear and white towels. The two Chesterfield sofas were very comfortable.

Beautiful lodge. Loved that it was all wooden inside made it very cosy.Everything was clean. Kitchen Facilities looked new. Bed was comfy.The extras of towels/ dressing robes/ washing up supplies were gratefully received.

Only one criticism, someone checks the Jacuzzis everyday at random times, just walks in unannounced so no privacy.

Lovely clean and tidy site. Ideal base to explore Shropshire and North Wales. Shop didn't seem as well stocked as our previous stay here. Decent staff on hand during the day.

Paradise! Really lovely place for a peaceful and quiet break with great helpful friendly staff. Really enjoyed the fishing too, and the breakfast in the cafe was spot on! Will be back for sure.

Lovely lodge. Peaceful and dog friendly. Plenty space in lodge. Only small note would be better outdoor seating. We had bench and table. Chairs would hv been more convenient for enjoying the Lovely sunshine we had.

Beautiful park with very peaceful surroundings. It is a little disappointing that the cafe/bar doesn’t stay open in the evenings as it would have been really nice to stop by for a drink after dinner. The lodge was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was wonderful. Overall an excellent break, we will definitely return.
