Loved it, hopefully book another weekend here in the future

Really poor experience with this location - let’s itself down. Arrival - having gained entry to the ‘secure’ site through the wide open gate, drove round looking for staff to check in. Only on 3rd loop did someone ask if we knew arrivals. Informed that a message had been sent with all the details in - however, by their own admission the phone reception was really bad and nothing had come through!Impressive service - had we arrived after they left - we would have been left in limbo!Accommodation - lodge booked online was not the same as one given. Only decent thing to mention was the hot tub. Rest of the lodge was really nothing to get excited about. One small info pack inside - given the location, it should have been rammed with local attractions, trips, walks and all the other things to do in the area. No. This one consisted of a few takeaway leaflets and no more. Site - had the potential to be a really good setting. However, when you have to contend with rowdy guests with music till late on and the constant smell of cannabis - really takes the edge off what we booked as family weekend away. Would we come back here?Simple - no. Would I recommend this place?No.

Good value for money. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Please note that there is no wi-fi on site, this wasn't an issue for us and we already knew but I have seen other reviews complaining about this, even though it doesn't state that there is wi-fi when booking.

This is a lovely lodge, has everything you need, comfy sofa and bed. Great hot tub. Only problem I found was a very bright light came on at 8pm on the decking and stayed on all night right outside the bedroom, and I found it made the bedroom too light. It’s not necessary to have the l outside decking light on overnight! The park is very quiet, no shop or kid’s facilities- so ideal for a relaxing break for couples.

Hot tub fantastic. Needed a driving rack. Nowhere t dry towels etc. Outdoor wooden furniture needed to be sanded down n smoothed. Raw wood splinter risk. Very spacious n comfortable. Cooking facilities great. Needed a wardrobe n mirror in 1 of bedrooms. Some doors didn't shut properly. Lock on bathroom door would have been nice. Needed parking space. All small issues easerly solved. Wouldn't stop me going back. Fantastic location. Nice quiet park.

Overall very good, hot tub worked very well with no issues which is what we wanted.Cleanliness could have been a bit better (cobwebs in a few places and a couple of fag ends outside).But overall, can’t really complain and it was quite spacious as we had 5 of us in there. Room sizes were very good.

Absolutely incredible stay!! We were in number 12 and everything was perfect. The place was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and there was even little biscoff biscuits left in the kitchen for us. We will be returning ASAP!! Thank you :)

Good clean tidy nice place and surrounding.

A lovely tidy quiet site

Overall our 4 night break was fantastic, within 5 minutes to Scarborough, 20 minutes to Whitby and 15 to Robin Hood bay. The lodge was clean and spacious, nice and peaceful. The hot tub could have been more enclosed for more privacy and the pans needed replacing, however that didn’t bother me as I take my own.

We were put in 34 as the hot tub in 12 was not working so cannot comment on 12. 34 was brilliant

Beautiful lodge, very clean and excellent facilities. Would probably benefit from having Wi-Fi and a more comfortable sofa. The sofa and chairs look fine but not as comfortable as in previous lodges .
