Lemonford Caravan Park - Details
Enjoy a holiday full of zest in south Devon at the family-run Lemonford Holiday Park, ideally located for exploring the region’s many attractions. On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, it is a half hour’s drive from the beaches around Torquay and Paignton on the English Riviera. Upon settling in, trekkers are encouraged to tackle Dartmoor’s craggy terrain, scrambling over hills and paddling through streams and rivers. You’ll enjoy the classic moorland scenery as you work up a sweat on the walk up to Hay Tor (starting from just over 10 minutes’ drive away).
Also worth a visit is Widecombe in the Moor (a 15-minute drive), a typical Devonshire town with a splendid church (known as the Cathedral of the Moor). Are you more of a beachcomber? For castle-building on the sand, head to Teignmouth and Dawlish or to Paignton Pier for coastal sessions in between tenpin bowling, fairground rides, and crazy golf (all around 30 minutes from Teignmouth).
Upon arriving at Lemonford Holiday Park, you’re greeted with spectacular green and open space. Kids can run and play in a safe environment creating a restful, leisurely and relaxing holiday. For other essentials like supermarkets and town shops, Newton Abbot (just over 10 minutes away) is your hub and it has a leisure centre should kids be wanting to swap sessions on the park playground for splashing in a swimming pool.
