Great Van only one gripe bed could do with new mattresse but on the whole can not complain and the view of river is superb.

Lovely caravan, plenty of room, clean, warm, everything you could possibly need.

A beautiful place to stay. I can’t praise the immaculate accommodation enough.Stunning setting and so well equipped. Rain or shine we loved staying here, so warm and cosy and so lovely to have a full sized shower. When you walk in it’s definitely a wow!

Stayed for a weekend. Very nice quiet park. Had one slight issue which when reported was sorted immediately. Good clean caravan. Check in was easy and informative.

We stayed for a couple of nights in an apartment on site. The apartment was lovely and was clean, comfortable and well proportioned and had good facilities.Highly recommend

Well looked after caravan, spacious and all as advertised. Allocated parking area not on grass is also a big bonus.

Excellent accommodation with decking area to sit and enjoy the views . Very well equipped with walk in shower. Very comfortable and relaxing

The accommodation was spotless and to a very high standard. The location was ideal for our base going in to York. Local bus stop 5 minutes walk and regular buses running. The village itself has amenities and a good eating pub. We would highly recommend if you want a quiet place to stay with York easy to get to.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Caravan was very clean and well equipped. Lovely clean, well maintained park just a 5 minute walk from Stamford Bridge where you will find a good selection of take aways a small supermarket, bakers and an excellent pub. Good bus service into York takes about 35 minutes, (Park and ride also available about 5 mins drive) ideal if you want access to York but need a break from the husstle and bussle .Staff and locals were very friendly. Excellent location with some lovely walks close by. Highly recommended!

Great caravan and had everything you would need. No negatives.

Lovely holiday caravan lovely and clean, had everything u needed, views onto river and weir were amazing, seen squirrels geese and 15 of their young,.only short walk over bridge to village. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

A good location if you are happy to drive. Various museums and historic buildings in striking distance - and, of course, Scarborough.

Fantastic week away with my family and dogs, caravan was beautiful and spacious. Would definitely come back!

Very clean caravan.Has everything you need in the kitchen. Plenty of glasses, plates, cutlery, pans etc.You do need to bring your own towels including hand and tea towel. Aswell as toiletries but bedding provided and beds made up on arrival.

The apartment was spotless and it has a handy lift to take you to the apartment above. It also benefits from the laundry room underneath.

Lovely week spent here. Nice quiet site with local shops and amenities not far away. Park and ride for York just ten minute drive away or a bus from the village to York readily available. Particularly enjoyed the luxury of a dishwasher. Super clean and lots of local information readily available. Would stay again.

The wheelchair friendly unit is well equipped with a wet room shower facility. It is spacious, with easy access for wheelchair use including a lowered kitchen sink and cooker hob. The veranda overlooks the River Derwent and is in the shade of riverside trees. Not so good if you are a sun worshiper. The only slight downsides were that you could feel the springs in the mattresses and a light on/near the dressing table would have been useful. Overall the site and the staff were excellent, and we would happily return.

Smaller site than we thought village is close but very busy.

Great location for getting to York and the East coast. Apartment was very spacious with plenty of bedding and towels. For the price would have been nice to have some complementary tea/coffee/soap as you have to buy all the essentials even just for a few nights stay. On the whole a great place to stay, nice and quiet.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Caravan was spotlessly clean. Quiet well maintained site close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

Just a brilliant clean site. There is no shop or cafe, etc on the site, but with a very short walk, Stamford Bridge, has enough eateries and a co op

Lovely quiet site and friendly staff, close to York and other attractions. Would of liked a little shop on site and bigger park for kids but not a deal breaker.

Had a lovely 4 day break with our grown up daughters and ivy our dog Caravan site is very peaceful a lot of caravans seem to be privately owed site is very well kept it was a few minutes walk to the village turn left at the lights with coop supermarket bistro and deli with great ice cream and turn right a nice little pub again dog friendly 20 minutes to park and ride for York 30 minutes to Eden camp 40 minutes to Helmsley castle Caravan had a great veranda which we used all the time including ivy it had a gate so she was safe If you are looking for a quiet holiday in a nice setting with easy access to various destinations this is the place

I always enjoy coming back to weir park, beautiful surroundings, spotless caravan and the staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Fab hidden gem ?

Our 4th holiday at the park. It's so lovely and relaxing.
