Weir Holiday Park

We had a great time at Weir Holiday Park. The site is spotless and maintained beautifully, making everything feel fresh and welcoming. The accommodation was cosy, tidy and had everything we needed. Staff really went out of their way to be helpful. Can't wait to come back for our third visit!

We had a great stay! The caravan was cosy, especially the soft bedding which made it feel really comfy. The kitchen had all we needed, plus a nice welcome pack with milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. The staff were friendly and the location was perfect-close to a pub, shop and buses into York. Lovely place!

The van is fantastic and the riverside view is simply stunning. Only downside is the mattress could be a bit more comfy, but overall, we’re happy!

The caravan was really comfortable and spacious, just like the photos. The parking space on proper ground was a relief too.

We loved the place! The decking was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the views. Everything inside was spot on, especially the walk-in shower. Very comfy!

We had a lovely stay here! The place was super clean and really well maintained. It’s a perfect spot for exploring York, just a short bus ride away-bus stop was only five minutes walk. The village itself is charming, with handy amenities and a great pub for a bite. Definitely a quiet getaway spot we’d recommend!

We had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed - very comfortable! The park itself is beautifully kept and just a short walk into Stamford Bridge, which has some great pubs, a small supermarket and plenty of takeaways and bakeries. The bus into York is quick, about 35 minutes and there’s a park and ride nearby if you prefer. The staff and locals were super friendly and the nearby walks are lovely. Would definitely stay again - highly recommended!

The apartment was surprisingly spacious, perfect for our family of six. It was clean and comfy and we appreciated the repairs on the balcony and steps. Nice stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotless and well-equipped. Gorgeous views of the river and weir, saw squirrels, geese and their adorable ducklings. Short walk into the village and staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved it!

Great spot if you're up for a drive! Plenty of museums, historic sites and of course, Scarborough itself nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

The caravan was spotless and had every kitchen item we could think of - glasses, plates, cutlery, pans, you name it. Just remember to bring your own towels and toiletries. Bedding was all set up when we arrived, which was great!

Really appreciated how clean the apartment was and the lift made moving between floors so much easier. The laundry room downstairs was a bonus too.

We had a lovely week here. The site was peaceful and well-kept, with plenty of local shops nearby. It’s just a quick ten-minute drive to York using the park and ride, or a bus from the village works too. Really appreciated the dishwasher and how clean everything was. Definitely planning to come back!

We had a lovely stay at the wheelchair accessible unit. The wet room shower was really handy and the space was great for wheelchair manoeuvring, with thoughtful touches like the lowered kitchen sink and hob. The veranda, shaded by trees and overlooking the River Derwent, was perfect for relaxing, though it’s not ideal if you’re after lots of sunshine. The mattress springs were a bit noticeable and a bedside light would’ve been handy, but overall, the site and staff were fantastic. We’d definitely come back!

Just a brilliant clean site. There is no shop or cafe, etc on the site, but with a very short walk, Stamford Bridge, has enough eateries and a co op

Had a lovely 4 day break with our grown up daughters and ivy our dog Caravan site is very peaceful a lot of caravans seem to be privately owed site is very well kept it was a few minutes walk to the village turn left at the lights with coop supermarket bistro and deli with great ice cream and turn right a nice little pub again dog friendly 20 minutes to park and ride for York 30 minutes to Eden camp 40 minutes to Helmsley castle Caravan had a great veranda which we used all the time including ivy it had a gate so she was safe If you are looking for a quiet holiday in a nice setting with easy access to various destinations this is the place

I always enjoy coming back to weir park, beautiful surroundings, spotless caravan and the staff are all very helpful and friendly.
