If you like relaxing by the sea and watching the boats and ships sail by, then you’ll love Solent Breezes Holiday Park.

"Small and friendly" perfectly describes Solent Breezes, and you will receive a very warm and enthusiastic welcome from the holiday team.

Visit the clubhouse, let the kids loose to have fun in the newly refurbished playground, and enjoy great value food on the sun terrace while taking in the magnificent ocean views across to the Isle of Wight.

Solent Breezes is ideal for lazy days in the sun, but should you prefer, the more energetic can enjoy a game of tennis, followed by a refreshing dip in the heated outdoor pool.

For entertainment, we have regular cabarets and live bands performing twice a week, with a livelier programme during the summer holiday season.

There’s also lots to see and do in the local area including the Norman town of Winchester, and the popular attraction of Port Solent, both only a scenic drive away.

Venture a little further afield to explore the Portsmouth Historic Dockland which houses a number of fascinating maritime museums and the famous warship HMS Victory, or take in the fabulous views from the Emirates Spinnaker Tower (at 170 metres high!).

Paultons Family Theme Park is another "must visit" - for young fans of a certain peppery pig family, it’s more fun than jumping in muddy puddles!.

Really happy with the staff on site, advised when we arrived that there was no chef which wasn’t an issue. Caravan was spotlessly clean and facilities were as expected. Lovely walks in the area and easy to get to main towns and the new forest for a day out. We would have liked a balcony being in a gold caravan but overall it was great.

We are a four-generation family scattered over south England and we get together twice a year at Solent Breezes, hiring adjacent caravans, because it suits every one of us. We do other things throughout the year but this is by far the easiest to manage for 2yrs old to 80yrs old and the most popular family event

Date of stay: 8th September 2017
the carvan was nice but the area was something of a dispointment
the swiming pool was locked all the time
the brekfast in the club was cold and not nice
the road in and out of the camp as 19 road bumbs not good for your car at all
the so called beach was all mud when the tide went out so no swiming in the sea
you aera not aloud to park near the water as you could blocking the view of the
chalets even thow they are over looking were you could park
nearest town was about 20 to 30 min away
the shop on the camp was not very good

Best Holiday we've had in a while, clean, friendly, amazing view of the Solent and fantastic activities for the children at the kids club, amongst other things they got to handle all sorts of creepy crawlies and learnt magic tricks!

Whilst the price of this caravan was a little more than we normally would pay, we were certainly very pleased with it.

It had everything we needed, the central heating was very welcome as the evenings were a little chilly.

Got ants in the lounge area behind sofa on day two. Asked staff in clubhouse who said it was too late no one there...eventually got given a bottle of ant powder to fix ourselves but it basically wrote of using that room as sleeping area so we had to,squeeze into bedrooms. Clubhouse is tired and run down....arcade pitiful as was entertainment. This park is more like a private holiday park with a few holiday makers thrown in. No daytime activities or enjoyment going on that I could see. Absolutely nothing like our warmwell experience with another company at Easter. Food on first night took 45 mins to arrive, on another it took over an hour..and then mine was wrong! The deserts then arrived two at a time...by the time the second lot came out the first two had finished theirs and then same with the third lot of two. Impossible,to sit down and have a family meal together..tired hungry children chomping at the but. We were told it was a particularly busy night...rubbish...it was obviously an ongoing continuing problem as I met another lady who had waited 2 hours a few nights back. She was still waiting for the manager to call her back two days later. We were offer a couple free snacks but decided we didn't want to set foot in the place again. Nor was there any point in complaining as the manager didn't seem particularly bothered.

Date of stay: 18th April 2014
Good for a short break, ideal if you have children and want to stay on site as it is remote. A booklet with instructions would have been very helpful.
Norman, Glasgow
Very comfortable, great holiday.
Rodney, Gibles Feance
Everything fine apart from the clubhouse which us rather grubby. Tables sticky, therefore not cleaned regularly.
Paula, Letchworth
Found sweets under the unit and some of the dishes were dirty.
Christopher, Manchester
Lovely clean caravan.
Ralph
Cracking place to kick back and take it easy.
Ian
The kids love the heated swiming pool it was a nice temperature for early in the year and the tennis court. They did get a little bit bored in the clubhouse as there are pool tables and a couple of machines but video Arcade game or 2 would improve this facility. Overall all, very good.
Richard
Silent breeze is a lovely clean well maintained site, Staff are very helpful whatever the need is, And would certainly be staying again when I decide to visit surrounding area.
