Solent Breezes

we stayed in a bronze caravan as we had a dog,the weather was fantastic.....couldnt fault anything,all the staff were so helpfull and friendly. will def go back again in summer with friends and family.....

Really happy with the staff on site, advised when we arrived that there was no chef which wasn’t an issue. Caravan was spotlessly clean and facilities were as expected. Lovely walks in the area and easy to get to main towns and the new forest for a day out. We would have liked a balcony being in a gold caravan but overall it was great.

Everything fine apart from the clubhouse which us rather grubby. Tables sticky, therefore not cleaned regularly.

Good amenities and fair pay, overall a decent experience, would return.

We’re a big family spread out across southern Englandand meeting up twice a year at Solent Breezes is just perfect for us. We rent neighbouring caravans, which makes everything so simple - from tiny toddlers to grandparents! We do other trips too, but this remains our favourite family get-together by far. It’s just so easy to organise!

Honestly, we expected a bit more from the place. The caravan itself was decent enough, but the surrounding area left a lot to be desired. The beach was pretty much useless when the tide went out - all mud, so no swimming. The road in and out was a nightmare, with 19 huge speed bumps that really didn’t do your car any favours. The swimming pool was always locked, which was a bit of a letdownand breakfast at the club was cold and not very nice at all. The shop on-site was pretty rubbishand the nearest town was quite a drive away - about half an hour. Not sure we’d go back, honestly!

Overall, we had a good experience with the caravan. The oven wasn’t the greatestand we struggled a bit with the central heating, so mornings were a tad chilly, but manageable.

We had such a lovely holiday! The place was really spotless and the staff super friendly. Kids loved the activities - from handling creepy crawlies to learning magic tricks. The view of the Solent was absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend for families!

Though it cost a bit more than what we usually spend, we’re really happy with this caravan. It had all the essentialsand the central heating was a lifesaver on chilly nights. Overall, a good buy for us!

Our caravan, number 222, Atlas make, had the tiniest loo we've ever come acrossand we're not even big folks! We've had more than a hundred vans during our lovely times away. But the cleanliness was absolutely superb!

We found ants in the lounge area behind the sofa on day two, which was a bit of a shock. We asked the staff in the clubhouse for help, but they said it was too late and no one was around to assist us. Eventually, we got a bottle of ant powder to use ourselves, but it basically meant we couldn't use that room for sleeping, so we had to squeeze into the bedrooms instead. The clubhouse felt tired and run downand the arcade was really pitiful, just like the entertainment. This park felt more like a private holiday park with a few holidaymakers thrown in. There didn’t seem to be any daytime activities or enjoyment happening at all. It was nothing like our Warmwell experience with another company at Easter. On the first night, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive; on another night, it took over an hourand mine was wrong! The desserts came out two at a time, so by the time the second lot arrived, the first two had already finished theirsand it was the same with the third lot. Trying to have a family meal together was impossible, with tired, hungry children chomping at the bit. We were told it was a particularly busy night, but honestly, that was rubbish; it clearly seemed like an ongoing issue. I even met another lady who said she'd waited two hours a few nights back and was still waiting for the manager to call her back two days later. We were offered a couple of free snacks, but we decided we didn't want to set foot in the place again. Complaining seemed pointless since the manager didn't seem particularly bothered.

We really enjoyed our stay! We didn’t use the site facilities much since we were out and about every day. The staff were super helpful whenever we needed information.

The accommodation was great and it had plenty of room for us. We really enjoyed the space we had! It made our stay so much more comfortable. Overall, a lovely experience.

This place is great for a quick getaway, especially if you've got kids and prefer to stay on site since it's quite remote. A little booklet with instructions would have been really useful!

Cracking place to kick back and take it easy.

The kids love the heated swiming pool it was a nice temperature for early in the year and the tennis court. They did get a little bit bored in the clubhouse as there are pool tables and a couple of machines but video Arcade game or 2 would improve this facility. Overall all, very good.

Silent breeze is a lovely clean well maintained site, Staff are very helpful whatever the need is, And would certainly be staying again when I decide to visit surrounding area.
