The lodge is absolutely fabulous. So comfortable. Absolutely spotless and so well looked after. We have been coming to this by lodge since it opened and have already booked for next year.

Lovely area and accomodation. Had two slight issues, the oven didn't really work or heat up properly which I reported to staff, and I noticed underneath the sofa was very dirty. But that aside, the place was spotless and the staff were very forthcoming with my feedback. Would highly recommend and will be returning. The lodge was very cosy with plenty of tea, coffee and a bottle of ale!! Very quiet on site which we liked. Perfect getaway for us. Thank you

Nice lodges in a quiet area. We got a last minute deal on a Hurricane Lodge. Well laid out with everything you'd need for a short break. We did 3 nights but could easily do a week. The sofa bed in the lounge was the additional bed - 5 of us stayed. We did some of the activities - Treetops and Clay pigeon, which were well run and fairly priced. Only a short drive to Portsmouth and the New Forest for days out...and of course Marwell Zoo is around the corner.

Way too small for 8 people. Tiny rooms will lethal bed ends. I have bruises over my legs trying to squeeze past. Kitchen was tiny and unpleasant to use. I couldn’t find a vegetable peeler so had to use a super sharp knife.

Great place to stay. My only issue was we booked a 6-8 and there were 7 ladies. One of these type lodges could do without being a bunk bed. I had to pull the mattress off and put it on the floor. There is enough room for it to be two beds. However I understand children may like the bunk beds. Booking a10 next time.

This is our third year at Marwell Lodge for our ‘Galintines’ weekend and we had an amazing time! We are a bunch of friends, many of us Mums, who love getting together for some much needed R&R which the lodge is perfect for! We will be back next year!

We went between Christmas and new year, our lodge was lovely and clean very comfortable, there is a little soft play, park & adventure golf we though the golf was a little pricey for what it is and the park could be so much better as for our lodge we have no complaints it was perfect for us we had a lovely stay and would return.

A comfortable lodge however we can’t imagine fitting more than 6 people in. It was quite cramped and the kitchen design not ideal - you can’t have more than one person in there at once. No wooden spoons and the drinking glasses were tiny!

Will go back again, really friendly, thoughtful owner. The kids loved it, especially the hot tub and quad bikes, but also had great fun in the outdoor adventure park. Food in the Bistro was very reasonably priced. Just needed to be clearer on original booking what would be cancelled due to COVID.

. Spotless inside. Lovely hot tub which was checked daily. Plenty of room for six of us. Lovely kitchen. We took some of our own utensils as we cooked a full Christmas dinner but there were plenty of saucepans and other pans too. Great to have dishwasher and washing machine. Central heating was great too. Nice and cosy.

Overall this was the perfect setting for my sisters hen do for a group of 10 women. We was able to relax as well as have a night of drinking and games in our lodges in comfort without being disturbed. It was a very calming and beautiful environment and atmosphere I could have stayed longer! Even though it was an adults holiday I did see it was very accommodating to all ages including small children’s and would definitely bring my nieces.

Lovely few days away with my mum & sisters such a relaxing place & the staff very helpful. Didn't won't holiday to end.
Alistair
Fantastic accommodation in a lovely environment. Facilities are good (though we didn't use them too much). Overall, a great base for exploring the area.
Tiago
Lodges where great very clean and comfortable.
Gaelle
We had a lovely time at the lodge. The place was clean, comfortable and better than we expected. Only thing I’d say is that the kitchen could do with a few more things such as extra frying pans (one is not enough) and chopping boards for example. The showers had such a strong pressure it was brilliant! The beds were all comfortable. We all enjoyed the hot tub which was a lovely spot to watch the bats fly over in the evening! The kids enjoyed the outdoor trampolines and the indoor soft play too. The eating areas were ok, nice feel about them but unfortunately there was a strong smell around there during the time we stayed. The pizzas were very nice (but please have a proper veggie option!) and the cooked breakfasts were superb. There is a lovely walk to do around the lake too with a stunning wild meadow if you go at the right time. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Marwell which gave us easy access to Paulton’s Park, the New Forest, Butser Ancient Farm and even the beach.
Katy
Wonderful resort with such a good vibe. Lodge was fantastic and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Felt like we were abroad due to the setting and weather Definitely hope to return
Helen
Really lovely lodge with excellent activities to entertain children of all ages; the soft play was a big hit.
G
Overall a very good break. The lodge was fine for two people and contained everything we needed. Bed was unusually comfortable as we've had some horrors in the past. Very quiet which we like despite all lodges being occupied.
Kelly
We loved our stay here, there’s something for the whole family. Staff were all great. Bistro bar and pizzas definitely worth a try and visit! Yum yum
Jackie
What a beautiful place and friendly staff. Had a wonderful long weekend. Lodge needs some minor TLC but nothing that would stop me visiting again. The site is beautiful with lovely walks and plenty for children to do.
Jane
