The van we were offered whilst comfortable enough was a little bit beaten up but as it had been an alternative to the pet one originally allocated we made no complaint. The complaint was that we wanted a PET FREE one.

I only had pancakes at restraint but very enjoyable

On the day of arrival you are given an allocated time that you can access your holiday home. Most people are hanging around until that time but the lovely lady receptionist at riverside rang us more than an hour before the allocated time to say our caravan was cleaned and ready for us which has never happened at any other site we've visited. It's not a lot but a really good idea especially when you've travelled a few hours. The caravan itself looked very new, was modern and spacious & we could've stayed longer. The shower was powerful and hot. The only negative was the mattress on the double bed wasn't very comfortable, we both felt we were rolling into the middle.

Water needed connecting on arrival and sofa arm needed fixing but both sorted very quickly by onsite staff who explained that due to COVID they are not allowed to check the caravans after the deep clean has been done.

Rod, Boston
we love our time and will be back again . Excellent value .
Sonia, West Malling
The size of the lounge area was great. As there was only 2 of us next time I would look for a home the same size but with 2 bedrooms. Our bedroom was a tight squeeze. Luckily we are only small people. Great situation. Pub and restaurants nearby, easy drive or walk into Stratford.
Tracey, Knutsford
Beautiful caravan. Good size for party of 5. Very clean and new.
Maureen, Leicestershire
Our lodge was perfect, spacious, clean, nicely furnished. Beautiful walks along the river and only 1 mile from Stratford on Avon.
Karen, Lowton
As above well presented and spacious.
Couple of issues in that the kitchen blind was broken and the washing machine plug in the wall was detached from it.
Paul, Wirral
Really pleased with accommodation and site facilities. Great location as well
Nicholas, Northampton
Nice to get away from home to some where we knew, better than we expected
Marilyn, Yate, Bristol
Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on this.
Stephen, Wolverhampton
Perfect didn't use restaurant
Jaya, Birmingham
Lovely and clean caravan. We had a wonderful time.
Helen
Fantastic site. Would totally recommend it. Great for dog lovers too.
David
The park is excellent, although the restaurant and pub wasn't open during the week, which was a real shame. It is very close to a village with a couple of restaurants, but staying on site would have been better.
Kat
Lovely site in a great position. Lots of good dog walks in the area and a great river for paddleboarding. The onsite bar and restaurant was lovely and cool during the heatwave and the staff very friendly.
Steven
Had a lovely peaceful quiet week a very well organised and clean camp.
Joanne
Fabulous stay, my only thing would be the water taxi said that it picks up at the rowing club opposite rsc but after waiting half an hour it obviously picked up elsewhere because it went straight past us, and they are missing out on having an on-site little shop! There is a little Spar a short walk but for little essentials like milk bread not sure why they haven’t already thought of it especially with all the tourers etc! But it was a beautiful place, pub was lovely nice walks and only a 20min walk into Stratford itself, was lovely over the celebrations for the jubilee!!
Sylvia
A lovely long weekend in a lovely clean and tidy park with a lovely caravan. Really enjoyed ourselves as well as t he friends and family who came to join us for lunch in the restaurant which was excellent.
Dorothy
An on-site shop would be an added advantage - particularly for the elderly & disabled.
Teresina
It was a joy to be here, the Lodge was beautiful with a great view and everything you could want...a home from home. The site had a place to go with our dog for a meal, very pet friendly and staff were great. A very quiet site which was great for relaxing, definitely worth the journey from Newcastle upon Tyne.
