Booked a last minute getaway to the Peel Lodge. Was happy with what we got. The Lodge itself was clean, very spacious, had all the basics that you need. It does have a hot tub which was fabby. The park is quiet just what we were looking for. Lovely scenery. There was a little village just 10 min up the road which had a co-op so all good for bread & milk.It has a club house, which has a bar, tv, pool table. Marie & Michael were great, they were our go to for any questions. It is a cashless bar but that was no problem, they sorted us out. There were a lot of owners on site, everyone was friendly stopped to say hello.Already looking to book to go back.

Booked the Cupola Lodge last minute as we were taking a puppy on his first holiday.Location is excellent if you want to get away from it all, park well looked after staff friendly. Lodge is a great size, the actual lodge was clean apart from in the kitchen.Frying pan / Spatula looked like they had been cleaned in cold water with no washing up liquid as the fat was beaded upon them. Everything had to be washed before using. Mismatched plates, three different types of cutlery etc... was only asthetically displeasing, however a bread knife, one "sharp" knife with a broken tip and some random bandage scissors when self-catering caused practical problems. We normally book with hoeseasons as you know what you’re getting but this was below that standard... toilet seat missing front bumpers, one of the hinges on the decking gate completely broken. On the last night, my son dislodged some of the build-up on the hot tub filter grill. We have a lazy Spa at home, so are familiar with the build-up on hot tub filters, this however had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned, due to the amount of build-up and the type of matted hairs that were dislodged not matching any of us.Its a bit of a shame as with a bit of attention it could be greatly improved

The lodge was spacious, cleanand fully equipped. Loved the fact there was plenty of storage which has been lacking in other lodges on other sites we have been to.Would have loved a sweeping brush for the floor as we had a large hairy dog with us but managed ok with the hoover. Only other thing missing were plastic glasses to outside, otherwise couldn’t fault the lodge.

Amazing lodge. There isn’t much about BUT we planned on just chilling anyways. We booked a lodge with a hot tub which unfortunately kept tripping our electric & It didn’t heat up either. This didn’t spoil our little break though! The lodge was SO homely and I’d book it again in a heart beat! Plus the manager was extremely lovely, and tried to sort out the hot tub for us. Would defo recommend

Enjoyed the cupola lodge, hot tub was spotless, kitchen and kitchen items extremely clean. Dodgy table leg in the living-room. But not something that bothered us. The space in the lodge was unreal. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there was a study and a huge walk in wardrobe. All of our stuff was stored away.

The lodges are situated in a very secluded valley alongside a beautiful wooded fast flowing but shallow river. It is the perfect place for a quite retreat. The lodge we stayed in (Cupola Lodge) was immaculately clean and tidy. It was warm and very well fitted out. The hot tub was wonderful and was maintained perfectly on each day of our stay. We were met on our arrival by the Parmontley Manager, who couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. If you are looking for a relaxing break in a comfortable and peaceful location then this would be a great option.

This is the second time we have stayed in Peel Lodge. It is immaculate, warm and cozy. The lodges are set down in a valley which can't be seen from the roads above, ideal for a quiet get away.We went as a family of 4,2 children and 2 adults and there was ample space inside for all.Including a bathroom and ensuite to the double bedroom. The hot tub is perfect to relax in,especially at night, watching the stars.
Just look out for the friendly ducks at the door on a morning :-)

3rd time here at Parmontley. Another fantastic weekend break. Beautiful as always, lovely and clean. Fabulous surroundings. Staff so helpful. looking forward to next years visit. We usually stay in Peel lodge but as there was 6 of us we booked Staward. Staward very cosy and a bit more 'lived in'.

In a beautiful location. Lodge excellent. No extra facilities ie shop or clubhouse. Very quiet. Great if you want peace and quiet. Nearest pub 2 mile walk. Menu not to our liking but that’s personal choice. Overall got value for money contactless check in superb. Manager always answered phone when rung
Linda
A lovely lodge on a secluded site by the River Allen. Only 10 lodges on site at the moment, in a field designed for 40 so lots of space. Some facilities on the adjacent caravan park across the river.Local walks restricted by steepness of terrain, but lots of wildlife to observe.
Barry
