Ogwen Bank Caravan and Lodge Park

the lodge was very beautiful and modern however I would not recommend for a family of four and a dog. there was only one bathroom which you had to pass through a bedroom to get to, not ideal in the middle of the night. there were also no wardrobes and had to live out of the suitcase, again not ideal for 4 people. hot tub was brilliant, surroundings were beautiful and the restuarant was nice and great for dogs. overall was a great break for us over new years eve and would recommend :)

Wonderful place, very clean, spacious and modern. Very warm and comfortable. Close location to zip world and you can see people on it from your window. Great experience.

This is probably the best lodge I’ve stayed in. I am always pleased with the accommodation I book through Hoseasons, but this one was exceeded my expectations.

Excellent location for visiting North Wales, park and accommodation spotlessly clean. Staff at reception were very friendly, didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice. Only grip if being picky was the seating area in the lounge not enough for 4 adults - just a corner settee

We had an amazing stay. It was so lovely to come back from a day of hiking in the beautiful landscape of north wales to relax in a hot tub and cuddle up on the sofa. Had an amazing time and we are already talking about booking our next stay in 2025!

Having just returned from our break and stay in beechwood /snowdonia. Not only was the walks and scenery absolutely stunning… our break was made all the more magical using the lodge ‘beechwood’ as our base. It was beautifully clean and furnished to a high level… and the hot tub was an amazing way to relax our tired limbs! Will definitely be staying in beechwood again!! Wayne&Marie

The riverside pod was beautiful but compact. The added bonus of the hot tub was perfect for our children. The pod is positioned next to the stream which we LOVED. It was so calm and relaxing. My only criticism is that there were a few things in the pod that needed tweaking (kitchen cupboard doors, handle on window, blind cord). But this didn’t affect our holiday, we still had a wonderful time.

We recently stayed at this lovely spot and honestly, the place is a real gem. The setting is peaceful and serene, perfect if you're after a quiet escape. It’s also quite handy - just a half-hour drive to most attractions, which made exploring pretty easy. The lodge itself is charmingand we loved the calm vibe. That said, there were a couple of minor issues. The wardrobe door in one of the rooms kept falling off because it wasn’t screwed in properlyand the oven door didn’t shut quite right. We wouldn’t normally fuss about these things, but travelling with two little ones made it a bit tricky. We had to wedge a utensil in the oven to keep it closed, which was a bit of a pain. We mentioned it at reception, but didn’t notice any action until checkout - the staff seemed surprised no one had fixed it earlier, so maybe it was just a miscommunication. On the plus side, the food at the quarry bar was lovelyand the staff there were especially great with our kids. Overall, apart from those small hiccups, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

We visit this place every year and honestly, it’s a little gem. It’s peaceful and kinda tucked away but still close enough to everything we need. The lodge is stunning and well-stocked. Just a tip - bring a DVD player, the TV’s only Freeview. Definitely a solid 10/10!

We had a mostly lovely experience, but it was a bit disappointing that the main area was so cold. Since we were with our dog, we ended up in the back room, which was fine but felt a little strange because the flooring was the same everywhere. Honestly, it didn’t make much sense to me.

Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The only thing that bugged us was not having any tea towels or oven gloves, so we had to use our own bath towels for handling hot pans or pulling food out of the oven. Luckily, the owner responded really quickly when we called about the hot tub being a bit chilly-it was sorted within minutes, which was great. The hot tub issue was a bit disappointing, but their quick response made up for it. All in all, a decent place with friendly service!

Great place, would definitely return

We stayed at the S-Pod and honestly, it was a pretty nice experience. The place was spotless and had a modern feel, which we appreciated. The bed was super comfyand the bathroom was a good size for us. The hot tub was a real highlight, offering lovely river views. Only thing is, privacy wasn’t great - with caravans overlooking and the neighbouring hot tub visible, some fencing would really improve things. Still, we enjoyed it!

Really impressed with how much they've upgraded the place lately. Looks great!

Great location for Zipworld, lovely and peaceful surroundings.

Lovely park on the side of a river. Was very quite when we were there as we went the start of Scottish school holidays so not many people around at the time. Lodge was lovely and clean as was the hot tub, ours was in a more private area at the back of the decking. Was based behind the quarry where you could watch the zip line go past all day. We were even brave enough to go on ourselves and was an amazing experience. Would def recommend if your in the area for zip world.

Beautiful place to stay, would definitely recommend

First time visiting but definitely not the last. The site itself is beautiful, the restaurant food was delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. With regards to the surrounds, what can I say, you can walk for miles with such beautiful scenery of the mountains, steams and rivers, woodland and sheep and it is right next to part of zip world. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable. There isn't a single bad thing I would say about the place. I plan on going back again next year.

Perfect location for amazing walk! Lodge was lovely with a little hot tub outside, only thing I would suggest is if it’s a pet friendly lodge to possibly have a gate that can be shut so the dogs can be on the decking without being tied up.

What a fantastic place! The lodge was warm, comfortable and the hot tub was bliss! The Ogwen Bank team were all very friendly. The site was ideally located for sightseeing. Ticked all the boxes and will definitely be going back!!

We stayed through Hoseasons. The park is so ideal for Zipworld....literally a 10min walk down the river and up the hill. There is a very small restaurant on site which does decent pub food and we found perfectly sufficed for us on our arrival....advise yo precooked though as it is small. Staff all around site are really helpful. Plus side is that you can also eat/drink at Zipworld as it is walkable. The Beechwood Lodge with hot tub was lovely. Comfy and spacious for 2 adults and 2 teen boys and has most things you need. No towels though! Also, Beechwood is next to the road so advise earplugs! We also went to The Wave in Dolgarrog. Highly recommend activities there too....surfing and Ninja course. The site is being extended with new lodges so some areas are in a little disarray. However a perfect, peaceful spot to visit the beautiful Snowdonia area.

Was gorgeous. All the amenities were provided. Staff were so helpful. Great views. Right next to the ogwen Valley and waterfall.
