The best holiday away with my family. Will absolutely be returning, I feel like the house would be a dream in the winter time as well as the summer!

The accommidation was beautiful well maintained and comfortable. The only letdown was there was no WiFi and we could not find how to get this. The accommidation was clean tidy and well equipped. Every detail had been thought of. The hot tub was brilliant and the grounds and outside eating area and bbq area were also well maintained and clean

Beautiful house and surroundings. Very relaxing break. Couple of things that could have been better, the hot tub was too hot for our small children to use even for a little dip with no bubbles. The instructions for how to change the temperature in the welcome book did not match the hot tub model so they missed out on this part of the holiday. The welcome book says to contact sioned for any queries and to get WiFi password etc but no contact details for sioned could be found. There was no cake as stated in the details as part of the welcome pack just a couple of biscuits. It was extremely light in the mornings when sleeping upstairs on the balcony part so if you like a lie in take an eye mask or you will be up when the sun rises as there is no way to block the lights coming through the main window at the front of the building. The cot is only suitable for babies under one as it is very small and no mattress was included. The highchair was just wooden and too small for our 2 year old and too upright for our 7m old baby to use. None of these were a massive issue to us but worth mentioning if it helps others. We had a lovely time the views were amazing and we can’t wait to come back next year.

Stayed at the cottage as family group to celebrate a big birthday, staying for the BH weekend for 3 nights. The cottage was really well laid out and was immaculate! The location was easy to find with beautiful views! Only 5 minutes from Bala, which has all the local amenities. We walked down to the local pub which took about 15-20 mins & served really yummy food.A really fab weekend break had be everyone!

Absolutely set in beautiful and scenic surroundings. The house itself was extremely comfortable for us and our two children (3 and 6 year olds). We weren't able to use the hot tub on the first night due to it being cold following a water change which was initially disappointing but in hindsight this reassured us that the water is freshly changed for each guest. Wonderful for both families and couples!

Lovely time at y beudy, awkward to find at first but we did get there in pitch black. Good location with little town centre not too far away, love that it’s only half hour drive to Barmouth. only major thing I think should be done is new mattress's with a little more give in them, it felt like I was sleeping on planks of wood for our stay (other people may enjoy a firm mattress). Hot tub views are amazing but the deck is extremely slippy when wet. Only other thing to note is the hob is induction so if you plan on taking any pans of your own make sure they work on induction. Would come back again.

We stayed at this charming cottage recently and really enjoyed our time there. The hot tub was a real highlight for everyone, such a lovely touch! The place was well-equipped with all the utensils we needed in the kitchen, so no complaints there. Just a heads up, you might want to bring matches for the wood burner as they aren’t provided. We did find it a bit frustrating that the water system struggled when two showers were used at once, especially with seven of us. Also, no bath robes or slippers, which was a bit of a let down. Still, a lovely spot overall!

We loved the place! The facilities are top-notch, but it would be great to have more outdoor lights at night for the hot tub. Overall, we’ll be back at the same time again!

Lovely cottage in an incredible setting, but charging £10 for WiFi over four days felt a bit much.

We had such a lovely stay at this place! The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus more. Plenty of space for our two familiesand the pool table was a nice touch to keep everyone entertained. The kids were never bored with all the activities available. Evenings in the hot tub were a highlight, especially enjoying meals while taking in the breathtaking views. The house felt warm and welcoming throughout. We definitely plan to come back - it’s a proper gem! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The place is a beautifully restored old barn, combining charm with modern comforts. Everything you might need is thoughtfully provided - from the comfy, spacious rooms to the sleek new kitchen and bathrooms that make relaxing so easy. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the decking area with the hottub - nothing beats gazing at the Aran mountainside. Sioned and Gareth are wonderful hosts, really friendly and welcoming. We’re already planning to come back soon! If you’re after a peaceful getaway with a touch of luxury and wow-factor, this place is perfect. Highly recommended!

We recently spent a weekend at Y Beudy and honestly, it was fantastic. The lodge itself is stunning, with incredible views that just take your breath away. When we arrived, the host greeted us in the evening with a warm lemon drizzle cake straight from the oven - it was delicious! The place felt so relaxed, with no pressure at all, like a proper home away from home. We took a couple of trips to the Eagles Inn, which is only about 15 minutes walk and serves really nice food - definitely recommend. We were told about a lovely forest walk nearby, but honestly, we just wanted to unwind in the hot tub longer instead. The lodge has everything you could need, including a beautiful log burnerand you can buy more logs if needed, which we did. If I had to pick one thing, the beds could be a bit bigger and more comfy - they’re quite small and a little creaky. Also, earlier check-in and later check-out would be great, but totally understand it’s for cleaning. We loved every moment and even friends have booked after hearing about it. Thanks so much!! X

Our first wedding anniversary was spent at Bryn Caled Cottagesand it was truly lovely. The cottage was spotless and came equipped with everything we could need - actually, more than we expected! The location is pretty perfectand even with the unpredictable March weather, we enjoyed the hot tub every single day. Sioned greeted us warmly and even brought a delicious lemon drizzle cake, which was a nice touch. We loved seeing the dogs and chickens wandering around the grounds, it added to the charm. We had a fantastic time and definitely plan to come back soon!

Stunning location and beautiful lodges
Tony
Absolutely fabulous holiday accommodation with all necessary facilities. Great owners too. Would definitely return.
Katherine
Wonderful cottage & stunning location. 6 adults & two toddlers under 2. I would say that although the children always had full supervision, the cottage isn’t as child friendly as I thought. The doors being the main issue, some of them don’t close properly or come open with the wind. That said, we managed it by moving furniture when needed. The cottage is huge & has 4 bathrooms. The location is perfect & a short drive to Bala & Barmouth beach. We would definitely book again. The only thing I think could be improved is the cleaning. I feel like it needs a deep clean. We found a lot of dust & cobwebs & mould in one of the bathrooms. We do appreciate however that the lovely owner, let us check in at 2pm rather than 4 so this may have shortened cleaning time.
Kalum
Couldn’t have booked better the cottages are amazing and the owners are lovely, would 100% recommend this place. The location is convenient being located near Bala and only an hours drive from most attractions. There’s so much to do that we will have to come back again next year.

Absolutely stunning location for a perfect family get away. The converted barn and hot tub were both so spacious for a larger party. Many wonderful and unforgettable memories made here. Would highly recommend.
Emma
Amazing holiday and experience, lovely owners but would recommend placing a outdoor light where the hot tub is as the one that is already there doesnt work and would recommend where to change the hot tub heating and indoor heating as it was abit nippy at night time
Karen
Absolutely beautiful cottage. Loved the pool table in upstairs lounge. The owners were friendly and gave us tips on where to eat and some lovely walks. Very comfy beds lovely views and large hot tub. Brilliant for 4 couples or 2 families x
