Great spot overall, just wish there were more utensils for cooking, whether gas or microwave. That’s the only gripe!

Really loved our stay! The lodge was stunning, had all we needed and more. The owner was super helpful when we called. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. Everything was spotless and well-stocked, from the fixtures to the furniture, all of high quality. The site’s peaceful and quiet and everyone’s so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it was a bit disappointing. There were no lights in either bathroom, which made things tricky at night. The lack of contact details or a way to reach staff was frustrating. The patio curtains were hanging off, so they stayed open all the time and after 4:30 pm, we couldn't see inside the bathrooms at all. Not what we expected!

We recently stayed as a family of four - two adults, a toddler and a newborn. Packing was a bit of a task, but the lodge itself was surprisingly roomy and well-organised, with plenty of storage space including a walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom. The master bedroom was large enough to fit a travel cot comfortably, which was great. The surrounding area was pretty quiet; we found two pubs in the nearby village and Withernsea was just a quick 10-minute drive where we enjoyed swimming and some arcade fun. We also took a day trip to Scarborough’s sea life centre, which was about two hours away. Honestly, we had a lovely break and would definitely come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this lodge. It’s spotless and very peaceful, ideal for older families or couples looking for a quiet getaway. The park itself is calm and well-kept and it served as a good base for exploring the area. A tip from one of the staff led us to the nearby playground at Sand le Mer, which was just a short walk away. It would be great to have coat hooks and a gate on the decking, but honestly, the only minor issue was the temperamental smart TV. Will was really helpful and quick to fix it. We’d definitely come back!

We had a pretty good stay overall. The place is peaceful and perfect if you're after some quiet time and it’s not far from the beach, although there are quite a few steps to get down to the pebbly shore. Shops nearby were handy and had everything we needed for a week. The bed was really comfy, which was great after long days and the sofas were alright for relaxing. The addition of a washing machine was a bonus, though we did notice there was no dryer, so hang-drying took some time. The place could do with a bit more attention to cleaning, especially in the corners and ceiling areas. We understand it’s a work in progress since the site isn’t fully finished yet, so hopefully that improves. We’d consider coming back, probably out of season when it’s a bit quieter. We’ll keep an eye on reviews to see if things improve!

We had a lovely stay, very comfy. Thanks to Will for helping us turn on the heating and fire, though some instructions would’ve helped. Cheers!

We stayed at this lodge and loved it! Everything was spotlessly clean, well stocked with towels, bedding and even a vacuum. Totally worth it!

We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The verandah was perfect for relaxing and the neighbours on either side were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The fully integrated appliances made everything so convenient. There was plenty of space for us three adults and our 6-year-old, who loved feeding the fish at the wildlife pond. We visited all the usual spots, but honestly, the lovely hot weather made it even better. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful get-away!

Pretty decent overall, just wish there were hooks on the bedroom and bathroom doors for dressing gowns. A shower rack would be handy too.

During our visit, the steps outside were quite slippery because of the rain and sadly, there was no handrail to help us steady ourselves. A bit risky!

We were after a peaceful few days away and honestly, this place delivered exactly that. If you're looking for a lively spot with loads of activities, then maybe this isn't the place for you, but for us, it was perfect. One thing that caught us off guard was how there's no reception on site - the keys are just left in the door, which would’ve been handy to know beforeh and, maybe in the notes. We messaged Will when we arrived just to let him know we’d got there and he didn’t need any further info, so that was quick and easy. The lodge itself was spotless, spacious and fitted out really nicely - everything you could want. There was even a bottle of wine and some Maltesers in the fridge, plus tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, scourers, a tea towel and oven gloves - all thoughtful touches. The kitchen had all the gear we needed, no problems there. We didn't notice any of the issues some reviews mentioned about the bed springs poking through - we slept really well. The mattress was a bit on the soft side, but still comfy. The Wi-Fi was a bit hit-and-miss; it worked on our phones but not always on the tablet, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, a lovely, quiet stay.

Great lodge overall, we'd definitely stay again. The bed, however, was a bit too firm.
Paul
Nice luxurious lodge. Perfect for that piecefull getaway.
Pauline
Lovely lodge You do need to drive to all of the attractions and beaches. The grounds are well kept. The lodge itself could do with a regular check for equipment. Some of the equipment..frying pans and baking trays need renewing. It needs more glasses, this could be down to breakage and people not reporting it. We found will to be very pleasant and helpful during our stay. We even had an early check in. We found everything else about the lodge very good. I loved the shower and the large bathroom and the large fridge freezer. All in all our stay was lovely.

This is a lovely quiet place, ideal for a base to travel to different places.. There isn’t any facilities as in the way of pool, pub and nightlife but that suits us a family….. Staff are on call as and when needed and The owner often drives through on a daily basis. But we didn’t need anything so all was perfect, just left to our own devices.
Louise
Beautiful lodge, everything we wanted for a quiet weekend away, perfect for families too.
Teresa
The park is lovely very well kept and in a lovely location, there is a small fishing lake but no other facilities, having said that I would return we wanted peaceful so happy
Yvonne
What a lovely, peaceful break away from home. The lodge is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The owners and the people who live on the park are very friendly and welcoming. The park is situated in the perfect area for exploring up and down the coast. We will definitely be returning in the future!
Julie
Just had a lovely 4 day break here. The lodge was lovely with everything you need. The park is set in a quiet location which was exactly what we wanted. Check in is easy as the keys are ready in the lodge for your arrival. You have the telephone number for Will should you get any problems but we didn’t it was perfect. Would definitely book again.
Sylvia
The Lipman Lodge offered us everything that we needed. Comfortable seating and a comfortable bed, a lovely open plan kitchen living area with all you could ask for. There was a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates in the fridge. If you want nightlife then this residential park is not for you but there are villages close by with pubs and restaurants, plus you are only a couple of miles outside Withernsea. The resident owners on the park were all friendly and welcoming willing to chat and waved hello as they walked by. We had a 4 day break here and I am getting ready to return, I didn’t want to leave. It was fantastic.
Stuart
The lodge was very clean and well presented. It was a half hour drive to Hornsea and 20 minute drive to Withernsea. There was no staff on arrival so it was a bit tricky finding our lodge, once found, you just walked in. The residence were very friendly and the location was lovely if you wanted a quiet getaway. I think it was good value for money, thats probably why there was no staff on arrival.
Kevin
This is a lovely peaceful park, nothing on site such as shops, clubhouse etc .. but that is not what we went for .. peace and quiet was the order of the day and this place had it .. We stayed in Lipman lodge and you could not fault the place one bit .. it met our expectations in everyway. The site is residential and the folks living on the site looked after us .. will certainly be going back again. In fact we didn't want to leave .. the other half is asking if we could look at buying a place there ... says it all really.
Bryan
Very good holiday relaxed just what we wanted
Margaret
The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable. Will definitely return
