If you want tranquility with lovely views, lovely caravans and friendly staff this is the site for you. Our children aged 8 and 14 also liked the outdoor pool, we will be visiting again.

We always enjoy visiting Cockerham Sands. Walking the dog along the beach is such a relaxing way to spend a few days each year. Love it so much!

We really appreciated the modern look of the caravan and how warm it stayed thanks to the central heating. The full-sized fridge freezer was a bonus and there was loads of storage. Only downside was the duvet covers, which looked a bit unclean and need replacing.

Good caravan overall, but the dust on blinds was a letdown.

We stayed at this caravan park recently and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. The arcade was pretty much empty, so there wasn’t much to do there. The caravan itself was lovely, though and had a lovely view which we appreciated. Sadly, we didn’t feel very welcome - a young guy working behind the bar kept giggling and seemd to be giggling about us as soon as we arrived, which was a bit awkward. The food menu was quite limited, only four main options and the dessert choice was just ice cream. We also waited quite a while to get served at the bar and cabaret area, even though staff were around. The park itself has nothing really going on, apart from the swimming pool, which was decent. Overall, not really worth recommending, which is a shame because the scenery around the site was really lovely.

We stayed at the site and honestly, the cooker wasn’t very clean when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. The management of the place could definitely be better - there were quite a few things that, if sorted out, would improve the whole experience. On the bright side, the office staff were lovely; they were friendly both when we arrived and when we left. I shared some feedback with one of them and they seemed grateful. Despite everything, we still had a nice time overall.

The caravan wasn’t quite what we expected since the picture showed a front decking, but ours didn’t have one. Also, the bar was closed for two days and there was no food available on the days it was open, which was a bit disappointing.

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the caravan. It wasn’t cleaned properly-dirt on the floors and sticky stains on the counters. The crockery was dirty too. We didn’t realise the pool wasn’t open, which was a bit of a letdown. Not much else to do on site either.

We grabbed a quick meal here on our first night out. The food was quite tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit!

Date of stay: 8th August 2020
Honestly, we expected a relaxing break but the staff’s attitude really let us down. Despite asking multiple times, they refused to heat the pool, which was supposed to be heated. The caravan was spotless and the location was lovely, but with nothing much to do, it felt like a bit of a waste of money. Such a shame!

We recently found ourselves relocated to Cockerham and honestly, it turned out to be one of our favourite getaways. The seven days we spent in Lancashire were full of fun and family bonding. The park was lovely and the caravan had everything we needed - we didn’t want to leave! We’re already talking about coming back. The only downside and it’s a pretty big one, is that tricky three-mile lane leading to the park. Parts of it are just horrendous - uneven, badly damaged and we kept catching the underside of our car on the rough patches. The scratches on the tarmac tell the story! It’s also quite narrow in places, which made passing other vehicles a real challenge. We even heard about cars going over ditches or getting stuck and a delivery van once got stuck on the edge - not fun at all. Honestly, that lane would be the only reason we wouldn’t come back, which is such a shame because everything else was fantastic!

Really loved the caravan, it was spotless and fresh. Just a shame about the muddy path issue, though.

Mary
Lovely weekend away nice caravan and immediate surroundings great entertainment only down side was had to drive for other amenities overall would go again
Steven
Cracking park , outdoor pool games room pool, snooker, darts . Food reasonable friendly staff. Tucked away a bit but a good base for Blackpool, Morombe etc .
Sharon
Absolutely love cockerham sands. Great walks great views. It’s a quiet site but everything you need is there. It is in middle of nowhere so a car is necessary if you want to venture out ?
Patricia
Caravan very clean & well furnished. We had a very good weekend. We have been a few times & will be back soon.
Katy
Caravan was great and site had good facilities. Pool was great but could have been a bit warmer for the little ones. We were told we could check in at 3pm but when we arrived at 3:10 the caravan wasn’t ready until 3:45, member of staff behind reception wasn’t very helpful and a little abrupt. Overall we had a great holiday, entertainment at night was great and we enjoyed days out to morecambe, Lakeland maize farm and Blackpool.
Heather
Black bags in the caravan would be useful and towels would save on the packing. Don’t forget to bring towels as no where to buy any. The shop is very reasonable and very helpful staff.
