Perfect location, quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to go back

We enjoyed the stay. The walks were amazing. Trying to find a shop without a car was a mission! The only thing we could fault was the cleanliness of the lodge when we turned up. The floor looked almost like it hadn’t been swept or hoovered, hair; dog and human all over, even on the bed. We swept to fix the problem. Also, paw print on the white bedding, and not from my Bichon. Bath plug was already broke which caused us having to improvise to have a bath, and wardrobe door handle also not screwed in. Other than these little faults, we would 100% come back. It almost felt like home. The kitchen is beautiful and the view looking out on the cows was amazing. The positives by far outweighed the negatives. Overall we all LOVED it!

We had a lovely time here. Ian looked after us excellently. He was very welcoming - left complimentary eggs and milk in the fridge for us and anytime we had to ask him about something he was there straight away.
The scenery is beautiful and the perfect place to get away from the stressful life Round us - we will definitely be coming back.

everything was fine but if im a little picky the flooring had lots of holes from preivous holiday makers , considering this was one of the new lodges i think it let the look down.

Perfect for us as not on holiday but using lodge for 3 weeks until our house purchase was completed.
We would have liked our sheets changed midway through the 3 weeks, but not a big issue for us. Overall lovely and peaceful, good for the dog as the balcony is enclosed so she was safe.

This was a great short break the site is very clean and well laid out. It is a great base to use for trips out and l would highly recommend.

Only improvement would be to have some waste bins for dog waste. It was clean and no evidence of any issue but it was a long walk to the bins.

Looking forward to hopefully returning soon.

We had a fantastic holiday at Ribble Valley View, perfect getaway for couples. Our lodge was lovely (willow) and had fab views of the countryside, it was clean and very well equipped, we were grateful for the fresh eggs and milk left for us by the owners from their own dairy farm which we thought was a nice touch, along with other extras provided eg: (towels, free wifi, tea and coffee, washing up liquid hand wash, toilet rolls etc etc)
The surrounding villages a few miles away were worth a visit and we also enjoyed a day at Blackpool and the zoo which is around a 40 minute drive away.
Overall we are pleased we booked our short break here, we had a lovely relaxing time but also enjoyed spending time in and around the area. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Three day break with my 82 year old mum. We arrived on Friday 13th, there was a full moon and we were in a cabin backing onto woodlands!! :o) We needn't have worried though, the place was superb! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of helpful information from the owners on places to eat and visit.

fantastic relaxing just needed more crockery and cutlery to save on water and energy

Date of stay: 12th August 2019
Fabulous. Just one negative, the description advised there was a DVD player and there wasn't one. I contacted the owner who told me they had removed DVD player as smart tv had freeview, catch up, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I logged in both streaming services but the broadband width wasn't string enough so we couldn't watch anything other than freeview. I couldn't even get catch up to work either. We go on holiday to chill and watch films of our choice in an evening so we felt let down with the description. The owner suggested restarting the router which I did but made no difference. The brochure needs updating. We could have brought our own DVD player had we known.

A lovely comfortable Lodge in a good location. It had everything you would need. Our only slight negative would be to replace sofas sometime soon as not the most comfortable. Didn't really matter that much as we were outside on the large veranda most of the time.
We enjoyed our time there and had a lovely week - very quiet and relaxing.
It suited us perfectly for our needs.
Welcome pack of fresh milk and eggs from the farm were much appreciated.
Rebecca
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ribble Valley. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty of walks and trails to take advantage of. The accommodation was a very surprising treat with a TV and ensuite to the master bedroom and extremely comfortable beds. Everything was exceptionally clean and the lodge felt spacious with plenty of storage and all the appliances and equipment you could need. We definitely recommend Ribble Valley for families.
Carol
We had a fantastic four night break. The site is quiet and small but perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lodge was lovely and clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. Information about entry to the site was clear and we had no need to contact owners but felt the information was there if we had needed to. Having never been to the Ribble Valley before the site was a perfect base to explore. We took a lovely walk from the park down to the river and along to Marle wood. We also enjoyed a short visit to Ribchester Roman museum and bath house ruins. It was also a good base from which to visit Pendle hill. Myself and two young teens enjoyed really enjoyed the break and hope to return soon to explore more of the area. I would say that it is a quiet site with some lovely views and perfect if that is what you are looking for. Also, the pub at the entrance to the site is certainly worth a visit.
Maria
It's our first visit to Ribble Valley View and it certainly doesn't disappoint. The scenery was amazing, the weather was lovely and the lodge we stopped in (Willow) was like a home from home with everything you needed to make our holiday enjoyable. You do need a car to get out and about but not a problem as most places were only a short drive away. Most definitely would come back
Ray
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. Everything was on point. All rooms very clean and comfortable. The eggs and milk on arrival were well received. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Sheila
Wonderful quiet setting. Lodge had everything you would need with a bonus of half dozen eggs and bottle of milk, sat waiting in the fridge on arrival. Clean inside, with outside table and chairs another plus point. Would visit again.
Robert
I booked this for a weekend away for my Wife’s birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The location of the site, the fantastic pub at the end of the road, the scenery and the unbelievable food in the surrounding area. I’ve already booked for birthday celebrations next year
Steven
The 2 of us stayed in the beech Lodge, and really enjoyed our stay. The lodge itself very high spec when compared to a standard caravan. (Full size fridge freezer, and dishwasher for example) For it to get a 10, the decking does need a bit of TLC, and with it being closest to the pub at the end of the road (100 yards which can be a blessing also) we did find a bit noisy, but that will partly be down to it being the week of the heatwave so everyone was outside. All in all a great place, with plenty to only a short drive away, and we would go back.
Anita
Beautiful location & lovely lodge, only thing missing is a mirror/dressing table in main bedroom, as a female there was nowhere to sit to dry/do hair but otherwise absolutely fantastic place
Rita
Very comfortable lodge amid lovely .scenery.
