With its well-stocked fishing lakes, tranquil location and abundance of leisure facilities, Carlton Meres Holiday Park is an ideal place for your family holiday.

Facilities include an outdoor pool, a fully-equipped gym, an indoor pool, an upgraded adventure playground, and a new-look clubhouse with restaurant, bar, gaming and relaxation areas.

Carlton Meres also has much to offer lovers of natural beauty and boasts a wealth of wildlife in its ancient woodland setting.

Within easy reach of the park is the picture-postcard Suffolk Heritage Coastal Region, including the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.

Nearby Walberswick, famed as the official home of "The British Open Crabbing Championship" is well worth exploring, with Framlingham and Orford Castle a must-see for any history buffs in the family.

This gated holiday park also has a special appeal to anglers with a raft of different species eager to bite, including carp of up to 40 lbs, and regular fishing tournaments.

Living room/ dining area would be a squeeze if it was at capacity but perfectly fine for us as family of 5. Mattress cover whilst appreciate for hygiene makes the sheets slip and could do with thicker fitted sheet or some padding of sorts. Caravan however was clean and perfect for what we needed

No towels, the beds had a plastic proctecion that was loud when trying to sleep. Sofa bed small and not comfy. Oven dirty and took absolutely forever to cook anything. Only 1 bog roll between 2 toilets and no bin bags. And a brick under the steps to get in and out to make level and brick came lose making it potentially dangerous

Caravan was excellent, only negative point was the size of single beds. They were not suitable for the adults who needed to use them. Due to covid we didn’t use all the facilities but the staff we did encounter were very helpful and very friendly

Caravan was a fantastic spec for such a cheap price. Fresh linen and stocked enough for a few days. Would take more utensils if staying longer than the weekend. Only complaint is the caravan could of been cleaner.

Very nice caravan, very well appointed. However the beds mattresses were plastic coated, which made them very uncomfortable. Site it’s self very clean and tidy, member’s of staff we’re helpful. The fishing lakes were great, very large carp, plenty of silver fish. Overall I would recommend this site?
