Accommodation is set back so private. Kids loved the hot tub which was checked every day. Highly recommend

1st time in Spinny always stayed in Coppice missed the dog shower. Otherwise the same excellent accommodation

Wonderful lodge, couldn't fault it...maybe a couple more radiators to dry clothes on!

Great lodge. Felt like being in a home rather than holiday accommodation. There are 2 bathrooms which is needed with 7 people. One bathroom had a bath with shower over which is great for small children who don’t like showers. The kitchen was fitted with washing machine & dishwasher. The washing machine would be great for longer holidays. These appliances did not take away space in the lodge and there was plenty of space for cooking & storing food. All equipment in lodge provided from cooking equipment, hoover, iron plus board and hairdryer so no need to bring things from home.

Very good accommodation, with all the facilities we expected.

The lodge was incredible. Everything you need, really comfortable and cosy. Would 100% go back!

My favourite facilities in this lodge was the jacuzzi bath and the sauna, I used both of these every night of my stay and it made me feel wonderful and pampered

Only complaint is the rug needs a non slip mat underneath as it slides around a lot and our son fell over a few times when it went from under his feet.

Fabulous holiday, Fabulous lodge and hot tub.. every thing and more kitchen very well equipped... soft play , games room , walks, pool... on site shop amazing and good range of food... just shame on price increase otherwise would have booked again

Our mid-week stay in the Chatsworth Elite Vogue 1 was just perfect for the two of us. On arrival the lodge was spotless and very welcoming with the electric fire glowing and side light lit, a real cosy atmosphere. The decor and furnishing were to a very high standard and the sofa and bed were extremely comfy. We had the added luxury of a sauna in our bathroom, which was a perfect way to relax on an evening.

Amazing lodge, really clean. Did smell a bit like dog but overall very impressed.

Clean well stocked lodge with parking for 2 cars. Beds were very comfy. Would recommend.

Really lovely place, clean, modern, good on-site facilities gym, swimming pool and spa + activities if you want to take part. Sauna and hot tub in the lodge. Lovely surroundings and trails in the woods which our dog loved.Slight areas for improvement:-Television sound was a bit tinny.Dishwasher not used as a) big plates blocked the spray arm and b) to use a dishwasher you'd need to have enough plates/cutlery etc to fill it.Sofa- one medium sized sofa - we like to stretch out and would have liked one sofa each.Bigger table would have been nice - I wanted to do a jigsaw! ????But, that said, really lovely place and would definitely go back!

The staff in the forester were very friendly and accommodating, and it was very useful being able to take our dog into the nice warm bar area, of which also served up good value tasty meals, the swimming complex was nicely set out, and a good temperature for swimming.Together with our lovely warm Lodge, and plenty of area for walking the aforementioned dog, we had a very nice stay, in the cold month of January.

Quite dusty, marks on the bath and a sock found under the bed .

The lodge was quite dated and was disappointed with the standard of cleanliness as we found quite a few Xmas decorations ie crackers and the toys inside and very dusty and bits on the floor near the fridge/freezer

When I booked with photo and upgrade there was hot tub but there was not so was bit disappointed otherwise everything was good thank you

Fantastic stay, the only thing I would recommended is cost hooks as we had to hang them on doors and sharper knives

The lodge at Darwin Forest was lovely. Clean,warm and well equipped . The staff at every amenity we used were helpful, cheerful and welcoming. We would return.

Very nice lodge ,but did find the bedrooms very dusty the rest of the lodge was clean so just dustest the bedrooms

Relaxing spa

The lodge was so clean and comfortable. It felt very luxurious and spacious. The bed was really comfy. Once we got it heated up, it stayed nice and warm all weekend, even though it was freezing outside.
