We spent four nights in a superior caravan over half term with our two kids and honestly, we had a great time. The place was spotless and the grounds looked after really well. It’s a lovely site and we’d definitely recommend staying here!

Overall, we found the place quite nice. It’s clean, modern and tidy, with a really lovely lounge area that feels welcoming. The kitchen is also up-to-date, though the microwave’s position in the corner above a unit is a bit awkward. The main bathroom is clean and modern, with a nice shower. The main bedroom is comfy with a big double bed, though there’s not much space on the window side, so you’d need to peg the curtains closed to block out light. There’s plenty of storage, which is handy. The small bedroom is mainly used for storage. The outdoor deck is secure for the dog and has good lighting. We’d suggest only opening the lounge windows at the top for safety. Overall, a nice spot that we’d recommend.

We really appreciated how tidy and well-equipped the caravan was, especially with the welcome pack of tea, coffee and dishwashing essentials. Having WiFi was a bonus! The two toilets and a good shower made things easier, though getting into bed was a tight fit sometimes.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The park was spotless and looked lovely, with a nice peaceful vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s perfect for exploring York and the Moors, though a small pool would have been the cherry on top!

We had a really lovely stay at this lodge. It’s super spacious and modern, perfect for family getaways. The location is ideal for exploring bike trails, walking and hitting the pubs in Kilburn and Thirsk. The onsite cafe and games room are great and the staff are genuinely friendly. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a great stay! The place was spotless, really high standards of cleanliness. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped, more than enough for our needs. The bed was super comfy with lovely high-quality linen. There was some noise from the gravel road, but overall, a lovely pet-friendly spot with nice walks.

Date of stay: 1st November 2023
The park is really peaceful, perfect for relaxing getaways. The lodges are top-notch, with lovely fixtures. Would be great if there was a small shop for essentials like milk and bread - it’s a bit limited for families with young kids, apart from the play area. Still, we enjoyed it!

We only used it as a quick stopover, honestly wouldn’t recommend bringing kids. There’s really nothing in the park to entertain anyone at all.
Sarah
Date of stay: 14th July 2023
We had a really lovely time at the park. The caravan was spotless and felt so cosy. The peaceful setting with views of the North York Moors made it perfect for relaxing. The on-site cafe served great food and the staff were genuinely friendly. Our only small gripe was the lack of an on-site shop, which meant a bit of a trek to Thirsk, but luckily it’s just 10 minutes away. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back whenever we're in Yorkshire. It’s a gem of a place and we’d definitely recommend it!

We had a fabulous week away. The caravan was spacious and clean. Perfect for dogs, could take Cooper 2 mins up the road to a secure dog area. He could also go inside the cafe/games room area. Lovely location to visit different places. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

One of the best parks I have ever stayed at, the grounds were immaculate and very tranquil. If you want swimming pools and bingo nights, this is not the camp for you. Perfect location for Thirsk, York and the Moors....will visit again.

Very quiet peaceful well managed site, neat and tidy with trees and shrubs for interest and some wildlife. It all felt very secure with barriers and gates and attentive staff. Our second visit and will go again no question, the ambience is delightful.
