Wild Acre Village at Sundown Adventureland is an outstanding new addition to our Bouja Boutique Break Collection for 2021.

Situated in the north Nottinghamshire countryside 20 minutes from Lincoln and 40 minutes from the world-famous Sherwood Forest (home to the legendary Robin Hood), you will find the magical Sundown Adventureland and its brand new family cabins and lodges within the enchanted Wild Acre Village.

Designed with families small and large in mind, each cabin and lodge provides a themed holiday experience aimed towards younger children (0-10 years old).

The single cabins sleep five people with a kingsize bedroom for the adults and triple bunk beds for the kids.

The double cabins, which can comfortably accommodate ten people, are ideal for multiple generations wishing to holiday together: separated by interconnecting doors, the double cabins provide two individual units offering the best of both worlds in closeness and privacy.

There are also lodges that feature three separate bedrooms all within one large unit.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the theme park itself, and tickets are included in the price of your holiday.

Sundown Adventureland is designed for the under 10’s, offering great value, fun, adventure and a truly memorable experience for all the family (see www.

sundownadventureland.

co.

uk ).

Whilst visiting the Wild Acre Village you will be able to make full use of the huge range of rides, attractions and play areas including the Monkey Mayhem driving school, Lollipoppet Castle and the Angry Birds Activity Park.

On site you will find a good range of food and drink outlets, with the Crash Landings indoor play area and bistro restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a fully licensed bar and FOUR STOREY soft play zone, allowing you to enjoy your holiday well into the evening in a fun, comfortable and safe environment for the whole family.

The accommodation was great, beds were comfortable and it was really clean. We used the hot tub which was a great addition to the lodge.

The decoration was fantastic and kids loved the walls. With younger children we felt the top bunk was too high for use but the bottom was like a cosy hideaway. Very sensible layout.

The lodge was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The children loved the bunkbed style beds and the BBQ stand outside. The living area was also the dining area, so was not the most comfortable for lounging in the evening but it could definitely have been worse and there was still plenty of seating.

Fantastic holiday. Lodge was great for a small family and I saw you could get bigger ones for larger families. Very well maintained and good facilities.

A really nice stay in a double cabin with family. Nice and new feel, although TV and outside light wouldn’t turn off. We brought comfy camping chairs as had read the table seating wasn’t ideal for relaxing on. Nice and quiet in the evenings and easy access to the park. Really liked being able to use the soft play out of park hours.

This site was amazing value for money! All fixtures and fittings were high quality and all in top conditions. Only thing we found was the sitting/dining area wasn’t comfortable to sit as a family in the evening and enjoy the TV, just meant we enjoyed the hot tub even more to relax in.

Wonderful weekend away…. Accommodation was fantastic, catered for my family. My 4 year old enjoyed the bunk beds and character walls. The cot, higher were great for my 9 month old.Spotlessly clean, as were the towels and fitted sheets. The report was well kept, the park was a brilliant added extra.

Excellent lodge, very clean and well laid out. Felt really big and lots of space for the children. Only negative is the lack of curtain/blind in the bunk bed room which meant a very early wake up form the children! Second night we squeezed a pillow into the window to stop the light coming in. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

The lodge was great. Modern, clean and felt very cosy. We compared it to the lodges at centre parcs and all felt these were much better (probably because they’re newer). It was also great for us staying as a group (two couples each with toddlers) because the lodge splits into two separate areas when you close the connecting doors, so we didn’t wake each other up in the morning.

The rabbit accessible is a new lodge. Sat watching tv people walking past to go to bathroom. Tv to near to bedrooms. No extractor fan over cooker job. Window too far away and too small to be of any use. The windows all over the cabin are too small the electric lights gave to be constantly on. The seating area in the dining part is not good it is supposed to accommodate 6 people. It is impossible to get round such awkward table and seating arrangement. The accessible bathroom shower can’t accommodate a wheelchair and the window well it would need a giant to open it.

Excellent accomodation.. Didn't use the on site restaurant so can't comment. Loved the Rabbit accessible.. Asked for locks to be removed from bathroom doors as a risk as if locked on the inside can't be opened from outside
Paula
We really enjoyed our stay with you last week. I didn’t get any names of the staff and wish I had as they were excellent. So friendly and helpful. The ladies in the shop on site, the hot tub men, the staff on the rides and the security were all fantastic .
Carole
Very good after sorting water
Robert
Lovely cabin, Play area very clean. Fantastic indoor play area.
Amanda
Lovely lodge, perfect for our needs. Staff always helpful and cheerful. Advantage of staying over meant my autistic granddaughter could have quiet breaks back at the lodge as well as being in the park early when quiet.
Ann
Had a fantastic time the accommodation was lovely, the park was great for the kids even the adults enjoyed it, we will be coming back.
Alex
I visited with my two daughters aged 6 and 8. The Squirrel VIP lodge was amazing. Decorated to please the children but superbly equipped to please the adults. Having said that my eldest daughter spent the most time in the hot tub.Peaceful location, although as it is fairly new for this season a number of lodge plots were vacant and some site details were still to be completed. However, overall it was fantastic and my daughters loved it so much we have already booked to return next year. Although the initial cost of the lodge seemed expensive, when you consider it allowed us access to Sundown for 5 days it then seemed a bargain.
Kerry
Perfect weekend for our boys 3rd birthday celebrations. He loved it ! Absolutely would recommend. The only thing that wasn’t amazing was the heat inside the cabins. Hottest time ever on record, and no air conditioning at all … however, who was to know that we would have record breaking temperatures !
Erin
Visited with our four children ages between 8-3years old. They all loved the theme park and all the play parks on offer. The lodge is very very clean and staff were very helpful. Only down side was the lodge got extremely hot however it was a heatwave and they provided fans straight away to try and help with this. The soft play however had AC which was amazing! We would definitely return.
Steffi
Wonderful getaway. The lodges were well equipped and little details were thought of. Plenty of room for our family of 5 :) would reccomend and will definitely revisit!
Vanessa
The lodges were wonderful well equipped even had a dishwasher. They had thought off everything even a tea towel dishwasher tablets. Netflicks. Perfect for family holidays. We had 4 pods for our giant family. Definitely book again. Theme park was great. There wasn’t one member of staff any where that wasn’t genuinely happy and it’s was very hot 35 degrees. Indoor play area and restaurant had aircon so great escape for us all. Just perfect well done wild acre sundown ??
Sophie
Absolutely amazing time here and bonus fair tickets for free. Cabins lovely and have everything for your stay little touches such as cleaning packs. Only bad point I would say is no air con as we was there during the heatwave will definitely be returning. The restaurant was amazing for food and the staff so friendly the girl with the black hair didn’t get her name went above and beyond for us
Carl
Quaint lodges, plenty to do for our 5 year old and very helpful staff. Would definitely visit again.
Alistair
Lovely lodges, excellent for the kids, and being able to access crash landings outside of park opening hours was a massive bonus
Pat
It's a lovely theme park and the lodges at wild acre are lovely but what really makes this place special is the staff, from security who high fives my children and spoke to them each morning, the ride operators who were so friendly and my children loved chatting to, to the staff at crash landings special shout out to Stacey and Molly who couldn't do enough for you ( we miss you Stacey!) What makes this place so special is the staff.
