A lovely comfortable cottage within easy distance of lovely places to visit or a nice place to stay if you just want to relax and do local walks

Lovely cottage, very clean. The only downside was things like only 1 toilet roll and 1 bin bag provided, no washing up liquid provided. All stuff we could buy but there was no onsite shop.

As stated previously a lovely based to explore north Yorkshire

Lovely little cottage ,but nothing near by so need a car to go places .
But excellent value for money

Very good. Would do it again.

Pet charges need to be look at because I don't have dogs that mault

Excellent break- no one else booked in the cottages so we never saw anyone there or anyone from the caravan park which must have been accessed via another entrance. This was not a problem for us as we wanted to explore the area whilst having a comfortable and conveniently located cottage

Lovely cottage would book again.

Lovely weekend away

We Took the mother-in-law with My Husband, our 4 & 6 year olds and myself.

This place was great and dint't think that the pics on line did it justice to be honest as the downstairs was a lot bigger than it looked an i expected.

I don't recall seeing that there was a downstairs wet room with Toilet and hand basin too which was great.

I HAVE recomended this to friends and familt and YES i would go back!

Lovely and chilled. Unfortunately the majority of the sites facilities, including he pub were closed

Cottage contained all that we needed. There was plenty of space for a family of four.

A great holiday at white rose cottage

Great for a base to explore accommodation clean and comfortable we had a great time!

Lovely cottage which was clean and bright with comfy sofas. Nice garden on the back that looked out onto a field with some sheep. We went right at the end of the season so camp was a rather quiet but that suited us. Indoor pool was nice and warm most days, however no where other than toilets that were not heated and across from the pool which was rather a chilly run! Didn't bother our kids much though. Nice park, but shop had empty shelves. Pub opening hours erratic and didn't suit us, would have been nice to have the option to go there for dinner everyday.

Thirsk is wonderful and would highly recommend the James Herriot museum, was surprised how good it was!

Overall I liked the park and would return again if the pub offered daily meals and proper changing rooms were put onto indoor pool.

All I can say is don't hesitate book it, you won't regret it.

Nov. 2015. When we arrived found easily, very clean, warn and welcoming. Easy parking. Good central point for touring. Nearest town about 4 miles away (Thirsk). Will visit this site again

excellent...lovely accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Local pub on site and some facilities for children for a relaxing and peaceful break.. Didn't want to leave!

could not fault cottage

Very quiet over the Xmas period. But accommodation could not be faulted.

Lovely cottage only one small issue there were a few spiders webs around top of door frames - lack of dusting !! Not a complaint just an observation.

Comfortable but improvements could be made! Also quite expensive considering the size of cottage!

Very impressed by the layout of the cottage, much roomier than a caravan and filled with all kitchen utensils needed for a short weekend. The cottage was very clean and well catered for. The bedding and towels were of excellent quality. Also appreciated being able to take the dog who enjoyed her holiday as opposed to us being subjected to her sulking for a week after collecting her from the kennels.

Everything you needed for a relaxing break was available. If you required anything further staff very helpful to provide it. My only minus point was the cottages for 5 only have 4 seats in the living room, even a bean bag or something would have being helpful as the child who ended up sitting on the floor was never happy!

A short and very scenic drive to both Thirsk and York lots to do for young kids soft play,swing parks,swimming bathes and youre only 30 minutes from Flamingo Land which is not all you read about its grea for teenagers but not for young children

This was my second stay at White Rose Cottages and again I loved it.
Any time that I have a break in Yorkshire, White Rose Cottages would be my preferred place to stay.

Very nice cottage and clean pleasant surroundings

We didnt have any real need to contact the staff, and although the interior of the cottage was excellent the outside needs some work on it but I expect that this has been lined up for later.

Great set of cottages with all the comforts of home. The area is peaceful and close to everything that North Yorkshire has to offer.

Great base for visiting places and walking. Oaks fishery just round the corner if fishing is your hobby.

Lovely cottage which looks like in will soon be installed with a hot tub. I hope it is because I’ll Defo be back

We all loved our weekend brake we were all impressed with the cottage it looked like it had just been refurbished. It was central for our needs for york and eden camp most definitely be going back most enjoyable.

Stayed at cottage Birch, just been renovated so cottage was absolutely beautiful. Only thing I'd add is couple kitchen appliances needed, like dishwasher rack for dishes, chopping board and sweeping brush. And the outside pool roof needed a good clean. Everything else was perfect, I would recommend and I'll be back. Thank you for an amazing stay! X

The cottage was lovely. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice location. We have booked to go back again in the summer.

Lovely cottage & we will be back. Do not let reviews put you off!! Clean, tidy & very comfy beds. Just a shame the pub ran a ticket event for Halloween, we didn't know this, so children missed out.
