We really enjoyed our stay here, especially since family is nearby. The lack of Wi-Fi was a bit annoying and the sauna wasn’t working, but overall, it was lovely.

We recently stayed at Rwst again, choosing a two-bedroom this time to get a bit more space. The place is generally nice and quite roomy for us and our two dogs. However, there are a few niggles. The main issue was that neither of the beds had any kind of enclosed outdoor area, which meant every time the dogs needed a quick loo break, I had to grab their leads and shoes - a bit of a faff. The shower was pretty rubbish; it barely dribbled and swung between scorching hot and freezing cold, which was annoying. The main bedroom's radiator wasn’t working either, making it pretty chilly compared to the other rooms. The hot tub was out of action for the first couple of nights and only worked on the last night, but unfortunately, it was too busy for us to enjoy it then. Such a shame after a long day of hiking - a hot tub would’ve been perfect. The location is great, but honestly, the place feels like it’s gone downhill since last year. Disappointing, really.

The house was quite run down and had visible damage, especially near the launderette entrance. It’s a busy spot with late-night users and unfortunately, it felt quite inconsiderate at times.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few bits that could’ve been better. The biggest issue was on our second day when we were told not to use the shower because of a leak from the downstairs apartment caused by our shower on the first night. It was a rainy week in Wales, so we were expecting muddy shoes and dirtier clothes and of course, we wanted to shower after a day out. Instead, we had to trek to the gym’s little shower cubicle, which was quite a walk in the dark and pouring rain-not exactly ideal after a long day. Apart from that, the apartment had all the basics we needed for a short stay and the location was spot on - close to shops and a lovely walk to the bridge with pretty views of the house surrounded by leaves. It’s a great spot overall and we’d definitely come back if they get the showers sorted! Would give it a solid thumbs up.

Great spot for exploring Llanrwst, lovely river walks and very modern, clean rooms too.

We stayed here recently and honestly, the seating wasn’t really comfy for four adults-more suited for just a couple. The TV was pretty rubbish, only BBC worked without breaking up and the internet was down halfway through our stay. Staff did try to sort it, but no luck. On the bright side, the location was great for shopping, walks and the train station, plus that lovely old bridge over the river is a real highlight.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The town is charming and well-connected by train, making exploring easy. The property has some nice amenities, perfect for biking adventures. A few improvements like better blinds and more privacy would make it even better.

We spent a week at Silver Birch Lodge in early July and honestly, it was pretty lovely. The place looked modern and was mostly spotless, just a few hairs on the bed which isn’t a big deal. The location is really peaceful, right by a beautiful river walk-perfect for relaxing strolls. The value for money was great, especially for how quiet and picturesque the area is in North Wales. It would’ve been handy to have a dustpan and brush in the kitchen, as it got a bit messy during cooking and parking was a little tricky since it’s away from the lodge entrance, which was a bit annoying with luggage. But honestly, these are minor things. The self check-in and check-out process made everything simple, no need to speak to anyone. We didn’t have to contact staff at all. Thanks to RWST for a lovely stay-we’re hoping to come back sometime!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place had everything we needed - a spotless microwave, a decent cooker, dishwasher and on-site laundry which was a lifesaver. The spacious main living area and kitchen made it feel homely. The fenced section for the dogs was great, though the front was quite open, so we had to block off a few spots with benches to keep everyone safe. Not sure if all rooms are like that, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall, a lovely spot!

We found the apartment to be spotless and quite practical. It had almost everything we needed for a cosy stay, just missing a few things like extra toilet paper and dishcloths. The appliances were all top-notch and worked flawlessly. Llanrwst is such a pretty place - the views are stunning. The local pub, Pen Y Bryn, was lovely with friendly staff and reasonable prices. We also enjoyed the popular fish and chips, though not many shops were open. Overall, great value in a beautiful town-we’d definitely come back!

The lodges are stunning and the setting is just perfect, especially having one by the river (no.16). We had such a lovely few days, definitely coming back again!

We really enjoyed the peaceful riverside location, perfect for relaxing. It’s just a short stroll into town, so handy for shops and sightseeing. Only thing is, the parking situation isn’t ideal-no nearby spaces and moving luggage in the rain was a bit tricky. Still, lovely spot!
James
We had an amazing weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for what we needed and the garden kept our pups entertained for hours. They especially loved the underfloor heating - Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Definitely planning to return soon. Great spot for pups and their humans!
James
The cottage was really charming and in a perfect spot for us, peaceful and away from the busy streets. The hot tub was a real bonus too. The owners are lovely, very helpful without being pushy. They've got it just right!
Emma
We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped, making it super comfortable. There are plenty of dog walks right outside, which the pups loved. The host was really friendly and quick to reply. Meeting Penelope the pig and the farm animals was a real highlight. We’ll definitely return-great value and a perfect getaway!
Emma
The place was really lovely, super clean and well stocked, making our stay very comfy. Hot tub was fantastic!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still very private. Robert and Sharon couldn’t be nicer hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. We enjoyed the many walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. We’d definitely recommend it!
Emma
We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and secure for our dog Archie-he loved exploring. The location was perfect, with loads of walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are just charming. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed. All in all, a top-notch break!
Emily
We had a fantastic week here from 15th to 22nd July with our two mini dachshunds. They loved exploring and making friends in the lovely village of Thaxted. The cottage itself was charming and the hot tub was a real treat-especially during the scorching weather, as it was cooled for a more refreshing dip. The hosts were warm and friendly and it was nice to see them taking their dogs to the fields daily. Being near Stansted’s flight path was quite entertaining, watching the planes land. We’d definitely recommend Hide to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden is perfect for dogs, fully enclosed and safe. The place is so peaceful, it was just what we needed for a relaxing break. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a quiet retreat!
