Very disappointed.

We booked this as last min little break for my birthday Great reviews so thought fantastic sounds amazing We arrived late about 6 pm I received a text telling us the key would be in locked box , which it was cabin frazer was lovely looked brand new Everything was spotless couldn’t fault it at all There was plenty of cutlery etc in the cabin so was all good Towels we couldn’t find them but did eventually did , smallest towels in the world mind u Bath in en-suite bedroom with shower over it Shower cubicle in main bathroom Loads of cupboard space No hairdryer No iron or ironing board Hoover in small cupboard No brush or dustpan Hot tub behind the cabin thought was odd Not on the decking So if you want to go hot tub u go out your main door down your steps over the gravel over looking everyone ?? So we went to local supermarket and bought towering robes and slippers these were must Once in tub no one can see as small wood fence around it Tiny table on the patio with small chairs I loved this break really did It’s amazing if you want quiet There nothing here no pub or anything near There is small new play area for the kids wooden Nothing in walking distance My only gripe I’d say was there no welcome pack Nothing to tell you about cabin Who to ring if you had concern Wifi none ?? No info to tell us Where the bins were we found them eventually as I like to keep clean etc So I’d def stay again if I wanted a small break get away from it all

The lodge was lovely, heated up very quickly. Clean and tidy. Hot tub was ready on arrival which was great. My only minus would be might be idea if there was paving leading to hot tub. Other people and us clearly would walk on grass to avoid walking on the stones in bare feet. I have no negatives whatsoever other than that recommendation. The lodge had pretty much panoramic interrupted views out to the countryside, so quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. Definitely will be back!

We recently stayed at the Balmoral for 4 nights over Christmas. On arrival the heating was on, the Christmas tree lights were on and there were even presents under the tree, which was such a lovely touch, so all in all a very cosy and warm welcome. The property is described as a lodge but I definitely think caravan is a better description. The beds were really comfy and heating easy to use. There was everything you could possibly need, including a dishwasher. We did find a few snagging issues with items falling down/broken and squeaky doors waking the children up but young Jamie came on Christmas Eve and fixed them (however only stopped the kitchen and bathroom door from squeaking, not the bedrooms). We did later notice the fire didn’t work and more fixtures continued to fall off but by then it was Christmas Day/Boxing Day so we didn’t bother anyone. Hot tub was lovely. All in all a comfortable stay but I do feel the caravan needs some tlc, especially the carpet and sofa as they were very dirty/stained, we brought throws so didn’t bother us too much.

Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. However, few small issues such as no bins in bathrooms, no oven gloves, not enough towels provided, lack of food storage in kitchen and no shelf in shower for shampoo etc. if these issues were sorted it would be perfect.

Beautiful location. Accommodation was immaculately clean and the hot tub amazing with fantastic rural views. Great base for travelling to Aberdeen and visiting Balmoral and beaches, etc. There is no WI-Fi but decent phone signal (just incase you have teenagers!)Would definitely recommend.

Generally well appointed lodge.

Date of stay: 17th May 2023
It was a lovely lodge, really enjoyed our stay. I just think to brand themselves as 5* they would need to maybe include little welcome hamper/ packs - as there was no tea or coffee or even hand soaps etc. So a hamper with these essentials and some toiletries would make it feel more 5* The bed in the master could do with a mattress topper as the springs could be felt a lot.

Mari, Ayr
Lodge was comfortable, beautiful decor and the double doors created beautiful light and space during the day. Hot tub was a good size and comfortable also, the colour changing lights were a lovely bonus.
Lewis, Inchinnan
These new lodges are stunning, the view as well is beautiful.
Mary, Dalgety Bay
Beautiful luxury lodge in peaceful setting yet close to lots of beautiful places. The lodge is like a home from home everything is there you need. Would highly recommend.
Karen
We had a lovely stay in a beautiful lodge overlooking stunning countryside. At this time, the park is smaller and quieter which was perfect for us, however there are plans to extend the park and include a restaurant. I would certainly recommend this place fir a quiet retreat.
Derek
Lovely place enjoyed every minute there
Alfred
Royal Arch Park is a very young site and is still in the development stage but what a fantastic site it is going to be once done. we had a fantastic week there and loved every minuet of our stay cant wait to go back.
James
This holiday park is so peaceful if u want a quiet and relaxing holiday. Loved it there.
Douglas
Had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay with uninterrupted views across the countryside from the hot tub and decking. Caravan is very new, well equipped and clean.
June
Lovely clean cabin. Great base to travel around the area. Quiet and peaceful. Cabin had everything you could need for cooking or the local Ramsey Arms food is amazing if you don't want to cook.
Carl
A nice quiet location with places to visit, Grampian Mountains are close by, exactly what we were looking for.
John
Excellent weekend break with the family, would highly recommend.
Fiona
What a great find! Beautiful park in a gorgeous location. Quiet and relaxing. Lodge was spotlessly clean..and I mean spotless! Hot tub was fantastic! Will definitely be back and the plans they have for a restaurant/shops etc looks amazing!! Beds were so comfy! My only critique would have been 1 rooms bedding, purely the aesthetic side, didn't match and looked a little out of place/wrinkly but did not make a difference to our holiday at all. A few little wallpaper tears under Windows but again, purely aesthetic. We can't wait to go back!
Sarah
Fab holiday nice just to chill out
Graham
The holiday park is not yet finished but it was lovely and peaceful surrounded by fields
Kenneth
A great escape away from it all.
Sophie
Great wee caravan for a get away with family or friends! Really spacious and has all amenties. 20 minutes to stonehaven so we visited dunnoter castle and then we also went to st cyrus, if you are looking for a chilled weekend then this is the perfect place. In the middle of the country side so not a lot to do! But still really enjoyed our stay :)
