Overall, we had a smooth experience. If I had to mention something, it’s just that everyone’s taste in decor and furniture differs, that’s all really. No big deal!

We had such a great stay! The owner was genuinely lovely and super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was honestly stunning-so much care put into it, really top quality. This was our third visit in six years and we’ll be back for sure. Outstanding!

The lodge is decent, but honestly, I wouldn’t fancy squeezing six adults in here. It’s more suited for a couple with kids. Still, the weather was lovely, so we made the most of it outside. Definitely considering a return!

We stayed at the lodge and honestly, it was super clean and comfy. The view from the living room was stunning, especially during sunset. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was a good selection of kitchen stuff, plus some DVDs and games which kept us entertained. No on-site facilities, but the nearby beach and pub were lovely. Perfect location for coastal walks too!

We recently spent a weekend at the Gwalia Falls Lodge and honestly, it was a lovely spot. Waking up to the sound of the sea just outside the window was such a treat and the views were truly stunning. The lodge itself was pretty spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Sure, there were a couple of minor issues - like a bit of fabric coming away from the corner of a chair and a dent in one of the bedroom doors - but honestly, it didn’t detract from the overall luxury vibe. The big TV with freeview and TVs in each bedroom, including one in the en-suite, were a nice touch. The owner was super friendly, showed us around and explained how to operate the heating and where everything was, which was really helpful. The local shop is about a mile away, so not too far and supermarkets are roughly 15 minutes drive. The beach is easily accessible, though there’s a steep hill to walk back up after a day out - a bit of a climb! There’s also a lovely pub right at the beach serving good food with friendly staff. All in all, we had a fantastic time and definitely plan on coming back!

We found this lodge perfect for four adults with two comfy double beds. The dishwasher and washing machine were a real bonus, even if the furniture’s a bit worn out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Vista. The site is so peaceful and well-equipped, though a drying rack would’ve been handy. The views are stunning and it's just a short walk to the beach. Hope to return soon!

Date of stay: 27th June 2023
While the location of the lodge was really great, we were pretty disappointed overall. The bathroom tiles were cracked and broken and the bath panel looked worn out. The glass surround on the extractor fan was filthy and there were cobwebs on the kitchen ceiling. Not what we expected at all.

We loved the views of the sea and setting sun from the decking every evening. The caravan was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host was lovely even when we accidentally dropped the key through the decking. We were very lucky to have gorgeous weather the entire time and the site was so peaceful and well maintained. We would stay again!
