Anglesey Lakeside Lodges

First time staying in Bodafon Lodge and definitely won’t be the last In a perfect location on the lake - it’s a very homely lodge with everything you could possibly need for your stay It was perfect for the 2 of us and Dora the dog ????

Lovely location and beautiful setting, comfy bed and lovely welcome hamper. Although the lodge was very dusty and just didn’t feel clean. Can tell quick cleans just take place rather than a deep clean, I moved a TV off the draws as my little boy was sleeping next to the draws in a travel cot and there was a big layer of dust behind it. Cobwebs and dust all over Ceilings/ledges. Suspicious brown stains on both towels provided. Stains on bedding. Bin in the bathroom not emptied. Stains on all rugs, assuming because it’s a dog friendly lodge it’s because of this? I had to go and buy a blanket so my baby could lie on the rug. We had a few ants crawl on us on the sofa. Hot tub said the filter was overdue a change by 14 days. Such a beautiful setting and property but just needs a really good deep clean.

This lodge and location is the definition of tranquility.It is well equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable - you really cannot ask for more. The owner Olwen is friendly and extremely attentive.

This was our first stay in Menai lodge and our 3rd visit to Lakeside Lodges.The lodge was of an excellent standard , immaculate, well heated and the views from the lounge of the lake and countryside were stunning .We used the hot tub daily and found it very private as it was situated at the back of the lodge with lovely views.It was lovely to chill in it and watch the sunset.Olwen , the owner was very helpful and welcoming.We will definately return

Great place to relax in a lodge that was very well catered for. Cannot find any bad points. Lovely surroundings as well.

When I first received the holiday information, I did feel overwhelmed. I feel some of this information could have been on the booking site to reduce the anxiety. But from arriving on site, I just thought wow! The whole site is so peaceful, quiet, and clean. I then got to our lodge, which was easy to find and check in on my own. Again, wow, soon as I walked in I loved the place. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need and more. The little touches, like a bottle of fizz and setting the table along with tea, coffee and cleaning supplies was perfect. There was plenty towels, blankets and toiletries, including toilet roll, so never had to worry about these. The hot tub was clean and so nice to relax in during the cold evenings. The patio was so peaceful and we enjoyed watching the kingfisher every morning. The site is not far from the local town and plenty food options if you don’t feel like cooking in the lodge (again plenty cooking utensils). We did venture out, but we spent a lot of the time in the lodge just relaxing. None of us wanted to come home and I will definitely be looking at returning. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Anglesey Lodge is superbly located for an amazing, relaxing holiday.You have everything you need for a first class stay. The view across the lake from the lodge is beautiful.The hot tub is fantastic at the end of the day to relax, unwind and stargaze ????

Sofas not comfortable and would be nice to have a smart tv downstairs

Very enjoyable holiday only issue we had was the chlorine being too high in the hot tub.

Had a great time lodge is amazing and has everything you could want and hot tube a nice touch, only issue was the heating very slow to get warm but the log burner helped.We saw our first ever Red Squirrel and a beautiful Kingfisher most days.Good communication and advice given so helpful.Would love to go back in the summer next time.

Brilliant holiday and accommodation 2nd time visiting.

This place is beautiful, clean, has all facilities it’s basically a house. Hot tub on the decking outside is gorgeous and private. Location is pretty much perfect really, it’s quiet but you’re only a short drive away from shops etc. Snowdon is a 30 min drive. I loved it here we stayed for a week and honestly it wasn’t long enough! I didn’t want to come home. Hosts are also friendly and helpful.

This superb lodge has all you will need and more, the owners have thought of everything, such a great place to relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings

Perfect for us

One off natures finest, the location was absolutely perfect, the peace and quiet the hot tub every think was perfect, the four crosses pub and dining less than 10 minutes down the road with nice food served, your not two far from anything local shops a car ride away, everything is perfect, you go back to this lovely hidden gem ???? and you are straight back into nature peace and tranquility, you won’t be disappointed, amazing place ??

Absolutely gorgeous lodge, with everything you could wish for a quiet get away. On entering after an awful drive through none stop rain, it was a lovely warm welcome. A bottle of Prosecco and nibbles waiting for us, even denti stix for our fur baby. The kitchen is fully stocked with washer, dishwasher, plus the usual kettle toaster microwave. All beds made up and ready to dive in. The hot tub (only used the once) was delightful. Great communication with the owners would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

I absolutely love the new seating on the South terrace; it’s a picturesque view of the lake where you can watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine.I also enjoyed having a coffee on the new chairs added to the North terrace whilst watching the sunrise.The lodge was spotless. Everything was just perfect for a relaxing week away on the lake.I cannot wait to come back next year.

Absolutely beautiful facilities are amazing especially having washing machine dishwasher and hoover like home from home so peaceful and clean couldn’t of asked for more the owners r so kind and caring an go above an behond for you so treat yourself or family and book close to Bangor for shopping an nice drive to beaches

We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area. Lodge was beautiful and Host was really helpful. Lots of lovely goodies left for our arrival. Would definitely come again.

Stunning Lodge and wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and within easy driving distance from Beaumaris and other attractions.

Absolutely stunning lodge. We booked for 3 nights as a last min getaway, but will definitely return & for a longer stay nxt time. So peaceful & relaxing. Lodge very clean & well kept, (the owner) although we didn't meet her, was on hand vis txt or phonecall if needed (we had no problems). Beautiful views, walks & scenery all around.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge in a wonderful peaceful location. Good communication from the owner and a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub was great and the lodge was a good base for visiting all the attractions of Anglesey. Highly recommend.
