Sandymouth Holiday Park benefits from a truly enviable location within 24 acres of beautiful meadowland with panoramic views of the coast and the countryside. Sandymouth Holiday Centre has many wonderful facilities for you to enjoy and has recently undergone and extensive refurbishment. There is plenty to keep the whole family amused including the lovely indoor swimming pool. The pool is the perfect place to escape to on rainy days and has a paddling pool for the little ones to play in and a slide for bigger kids to enjoy.
Children are very well catered for with a selection of kids clubs for children aged 6-13. The children’s clubs are very popular and allow children to make friends and enjoy a range of activities which can include sporting pursuits and crafting while adults have some time to relax. Other children’s facilities here include the amazing outdoor Black Pearl adventure playground, a games room and bouncy castle.
The whole family will enjoy the crazy golf and pool tables while the more adventurous may enjoy the range of water sports available nearby which include surfing canoeing and sea fishing.
All accommodation here at Sandymouth Holiday Park is well appointed throughout the park and is attractive and modern. You can choose form a range of holiday homes with something to suit all budgets. All have excellent self catering facilities but if you prefer not to cook on holiday then you can eat and the stylish and recently refurbished restaurant, bar and clubhouse. There is also a handy take away and a café on site. As well as serving tasty food the clubhouse is also the place to be on an evening and you can enjoy the fun family friendly entertainment which includes cabaret shows and bingo.

Sandymouth Bay Accommodation
Accommodation at Sandymouth Bay Holiday Park is in bright modern caravans which are well equipped for self catering holidays. There are several types of caravan available so you are sure to find something to suit your budget.
Portofino plus – These caravans are top of the range here and are brand New for 2008/9 offering the ultimate in luxury and comfort. At 12ft-wide they provide spacious and flexible accommodation with a real light and airy feel. These are a great choice for a family as they have one double and two twin bedrooms. Portofino plus have DVD players and standard and a larger than average kitchen which is ideal if you are feeding a family. They also benefit from being centrally heated and also having outside space with a balcony providing stunning sea views. Portofino Caravans are very similar but do not have the balcony or sea views that the Portofino plus have.
Genoa Caravans are also new for the 2008 season and are similar to the Portofino with central heating, DVD player and large fridge freezer. The Genoa is also 12ft wide providing plenty of space. A good choice for smaller families they can sleep up to six and have one double and one twin bedroom. Verona Caravans are luxurious and spacious. They have a bright modern design and can sleep six with two bedrooms and sleeping room in the main living area. They also have central heating so no need to worry about the British weather.
Florence caravans are a good option for larger families on a tight budget. These comfortable caravans have one double and two twin bedrooms. The master bedroom has heating. Milan Caravans are a good choice for anyone looking for basic good value accommodation here at Sandymouth Bay These spacious caravans have one double and one twin room and can sleep up to six people.
Sandymouth Bay Surrounding Area
Cornwall is a fantastic part of the UK. The area has a wonderful mild climate allowing you plenty of sunny days to enjoy the amazing beaches. Surfers from all over the country flock here to catch the waves all along this stunning coast line. The coast stretches over Sennen to Newquay and Bude and as well as beaches which offer the best windsurfing in the country there are also miles and miles of clean, sandy beaches which are perfect for family days out.
This is also a popular area for walking and bike riding with the scenery providing a stunning backdrop to any coastal route. The Camel Trail, a disused railway line which follows the River Camel between Bodmin and Padstow, is now a superb walking and cycling path. The sea side towns Newquay and Bude are excellent for shopping and also have plenty of places to eat and drink. Traditional fish and chips are always on the menu but there are also plenty of stylish restaurants serving a range of cuisines from all around the world. On an evening there are many nice bars in which to enjoy a drink or two.
If you are looking for fun family days out then options are plentiful. A visit to King Arthur’s castle at Tintagel is a fun way to spend a day and is also educational for children. The picturesque town of St Ives is popular with artists who come here to paint in the special quality of light and the beautiful coastal setting.
For those looking for a little more action then the Milky Way Adventure Park is just a short drive away and is a great family day our. There are loads of thrilling rides for the adrenalin junkies as well as rides and attractions for the little ones. Other attractions here include exciting shows such as the birds of prey show which always goes down well with children.
The Big Sheep is another fun day out for all the family. The place is huge and has lots to see and do including a selection of rides, and shows such as dog trials, and sheep races. There is also a garden centre here and children will love the, pony rides, nursery barn and spring lamb feeding.
