The 5 star family run Two Chimneys holiday park has a wonderful location in 40 acres of stunning countryside. With easy access to miles of sandy beaches it's easy to see why this park is so popular. The park caters well to families with children of all ages and there are several play areas as well as a football pitch, amusements and table tennis. The indoor pool area also has a shallow end for younger children to splash around in. The whole family can enjoy evenings in the clubhouse which offers regular entertainment.

The nearby town of Margate offers many restaurants as well as lively nightlife and traditional sea side shops.

All of the caravans were new in 2009 and offer a high standard of accommodation with spacious open plan living areas, flat screen TV, DVD player and patio with furniture. The Ash is the largest and has three bedrooms while the Cedar and Beech both have two bedrooms and additional sleeping space for two in the lounge area.

Our Top Tip
"Enjoy a ride on one of the historic paddle steamers which sail from the pier at Margate during the summer months.  "

It's a pleasant place to stay if you are exploring deepest darkest Kent. The accommodation is pretty good and the addition of the verandah decking is a nice touch

I believe that it is going to go through some extensive modernisation which would be great as the on site shop isn't really adequate given the size of the holiday park

The Ash caravan has three bedrooms but with the two bed version the main bedroom is far roomier as they have the same footprint

Other than that i would recommend two chimneys as a holiday destination

The caravan was clean and well equipped although showing some signs of age. Each of the mattresses were lumpy with springs obviously budget versions or aged.

Nice site clean caravan but was struggling to gain entry to caravan as the steps were very high and as a 5ft person could not get up steps without help. Never had this problem anywhere else .
Danny
Great resort. fantastic for families.
Norman
Our holiday was very enjoyable, and the staff very helpful and cheerful.
Michelle
The site is currently a work in progress and would definitely benefit from the gardens around the caravans and roads been given some tlc. They are a little tired. The new facilities are fantastic. If you can bring the rest of the site to the same standard it will be fabulous.
