We were welcomed by Trevor and taken straight to our lodge. The lodge was modern, comfortable and fully equipped. The mattresses appeared to be new and very comfortable and this was appreciated. The 13.5 tog duvet was too much though in the hot weather we had, and the site was unable to provide us with anything lighter; so we bought our own. The lodge was a little dark and a little small but we had such a wonderful view it was soon forgotten. The location was superb and we hand fed the deer from the veranda in our rocking chairs. The deer did not beg for food and were not a problem if you did not wish to feed them. We purchased food on site which was really good value. We really enjoyed hiring the pool for our own use and had no difficulty getting a slot to suit us on most days. The site was quiet and relaxing and we would love to return one day.
The site was all it said it would be and more. To see the roaming deer,s was incredible. So quiet and peaceful. First class.
We had a lovely weekend here. The site is in a beautiful location with plenty to do in the area, and the caravan was very clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We loved feeding the wild deer that roam around the park and listening to the owls at night. We will definitely return here again!
Excellent park for a relaxing break. Accommodation was well presented and we were shown all necessary controls etc. on arrival. also received a useful information pack of places to visit.
Possibly the best holiday we have had in this country, it had everything we would want from a holiday. Beautiful setting, plenty of great walks in the area, loved watching and feeding the deer.
Brilliant location. Brilliant site management. All round a perfect break for us.
Amazing place to escape. I'd say it was a true jewel in the very heart of England. We loved being able swim in private, play tennis and feed the deer! The owners / staff onsite were always very helpful and friendly. We will be back!
Fantastic place with really friendly staff. It's so lovely that you are surrounded by beautiful woodland filled with deers. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to going back
Perfect lodge, spacious with amazing views of wild deer and other animals.
Lovely quiet site with pretty surroundings and beautifully kept. We enjoyed the pool and feeding the deer was one of the highlights for our 2 boys!
We stayed in one of the lodges which was outstanding! We never tired of feeding the deer and the views from our veranda were amazing. There is no charge for using the tennis courts and being able to hire the pool for private use was an enjoyable novelty. Go ape is a 5 minute walk away and it also offers Segway and biking. Drayton Manor and Alton Towers are close and there are plenty of lovely places to eat locally (The Stag's Leap serves great food and is very reasonable). Stafford has a great shopping centre with loads of parking. Obviously there are no beaches close by but this wasn't that sort of holiday. Can't wait to go back!
