This is a stunning clifftop setting, overlooking Saundersfoot and Amroth beaches and just four miles from Tenby, a pretty and popular seaside resort with cafés, bars and restaurants. It’s a peaceful location with some great on-site facilities.

Enjoy a swim, whatever the weather, with the indoor heated swimming pool or let the kids enjoy the outdoor adventure playground. Meadow House Holiday Park has a bar that serves food and a games room with snooker and pool tables.

The accommodation is a mixture of holiday homes and lodges. We like Meadow House Lodge, a modern holiday home for four people. It has two double bedrooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area and an ensuite with a luxurious walk-in shower.

Pembrokeshire is renowned for its spectacular coastline and amazing beaches. But it’s also wonderful for days out - visit the Cwm Deri Vineyard in Narberth for a taste of the finest Welsh wine.

Our Top Tip
"Head to Llansteffan Castle for stunning views over the Tywi estuary."

Fun Days Out in Pembrokeshire

Treasure Island Fun Centre

Located in Anglesey in the North of Wales this has to be one of our favourite attractions in the area.  The maze of ramps, slides and tubes will keep the little ones entertained and allow to them to run off their excess energy.  For kids aged 1 to 10 we highly recommend this place.

Penrhyn Castle

Situated in the Gwynedd area of Wales this neo-Norman castle is well worth a visit.  Full of historic and fascinating objects this Castle will appeal to many.  Some of the highlights include the amazing collection of paintings, The Victorian Kitchen, the Servants Rooms, the one ton slate bed made for Queen Victoria and the mock Norman furniture.

Dinosaur Park

This is a popular theme park for kids of all ages where you can follow Dinosaur Trails, play on the adventure playgrounds and on rainy days head for the indoor play den.  You will find this attraction in the Tenby area of Mid Wales and we think it's great value for money.  If you fancy a snack while you are there then the Dinosaur Restaurant and Picnic Area are on hand.

National Botanic Garden of Wales

If you like gardens then this place is sure to appeal.  With some of the most rare plants in the country and even in the world your visit will help to protect some of these species.  Attractions within the Botanic Garden include a mini farm, discovery centre, adventure zone and bee garden.  Located in the Llanarthne area of Mid Wales this place is easily accessible from many of the holiday parks in the area.

Greenwood Forest Park

Greenwood Forest Park is the premier family fun park in Wales and has lots to offer for adults and children alike. Within the park are amazing Treetop Towers, exciting Jungle Boats and a mysterious Crocodile Maze. Fun activities are plentiful including Archery, Stilt Walking and even the very unusual Den Building activity. New for 2010 is Little Forest Play Barn which is the perfect place for the little ones to run around and is also handy if the weather is not great. Don't miss the amazing shows at the outdoor Forest Theatre which include magic shows, and pirate experiences.

Welsh Mountain Zoo

Welsh Mountain Zoo is situated above Colwyn Bay offering stunning views and amazing scenery and is the perfect place for a relaxing day out with the kids. The beautiful gardens are home to many species of animals including some rare and endangered species. This Zoo is very much a conservation programme and educational talks are given regularly. Highlights include Sealions Rock, The Penguin Playtime show and the Chimp Encounter.

Glasfryn Activity Parc

Glasfryn Activity Parc is an award winning year round attraction with plenty of facilities to keep the whole family happy. Quad Bikes, Archery, Soft Play and even Wakeboarding can all be enjoyed. The site also has a fantastic farm shop, a café and 10 pin bowing complex.

Rhondda Heritage Park

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.

Beautiful lodge in an amazing location but for the price I would have thought it could have included towels and some basics in the kitchen like salt/ pepper.

We love lodges and this was as good as we expected.. Clean, with great furniture and fixtures to a very high standard. Warm and cosy despite some very exceptional rain and high winds. (It was half term and late October). Views from our lodge were also exceptional.
Standard overall was more than satisfactory.

Our party of two stayed in a platinum 4 birth caravan. I hadn't stayed in a caravan for some years and was quite surprised at the spacious luxury on offer. The living room was very comfortable, a well equipped and modern kitchen, excellent shower and good size double
bedroom with en suite. The second bedroom contained twin single beds - suitable for young children. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation.

Site not bad but could have done with a small site shop for essentials without having to park (or not) at Wisemans Bridge. Good walking country.

An excellent 7 days, the location of the site on the south coast of Pembrokeshire was an ideal location for exploring the local area. Both my wife and I enjoy walking so having the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path running just past our site was a bonus for us. There is so much to see and do in the area: Castles, Gardens, beautiful beaches and of course fantastic walks to suit all. There is so much to do that we ran out of time and didn't see all that we would have liked to. I will definitely be coming back to Pembrokeshire to further explore the area. My wife is Glutton free but we had no problems eating out, everywhere we had a meal they were able to accommodate us, my wife was bowled over by the variety, and the quality of the food. All the meals we had were excellent, the best she had ever had according to my wife ~ high praise indeed.
Mrs Karen
Had a lovely and relaxing time. Beautiful location, quite, clean & tidy site. Will visit again.....
