Kilminorth Farm Cottages are a small and intimate collection of cottages which have been rennovated from converted farm buildings. They make a very unique and charming base for a Cornwall break and are suited to those looking for a peaceful location. Kilminorth Cottages are just a few minutes drive from the local towns of Looe and Polperro and so are the perfect combination of peace and quiet but within easy reach of some fun days out.
Facilities at Kilminorth Cottages include an outdoor heated pool, award winning gardens to relax and enjoy as well as an all weather tennis court.
The stone built cottages have either one, two or three bedrooms and come with TV, kitchen, bath with overhead shower and electric and heating which is included in the cost. The Bridle cottage is perfect for larger parties as it is based over two floors with 2 double rooms and one with bunk beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge so sleeps 6-8 in total. The Wheat cottage is ideal for couples with one bedroom over two floors. The South Meadow is a single storey cottage which sleeps 4.

Fun Days Out in South Cornwall
A trip to the zoo is the highlight of many holidays and Newquay Zoo is a very impressive one. There are hundreds of animals to meet ranging from the cute and cuddly to the creepy and slimy. Children will love the animal encounters, penguin pool and Tarzan trail and there is also a play area. The site also has oriental and exotic lakeside gardens with picnic areas and a café and gift shop.
This attraction is ideal for families with children of different ages. Older kids will love the climbing wall, Go Karts and laser shooting while the younger ones can run of some energy on the play area or enjoy a ride on the bumper boats. The site is also home to Cornwall's largest Pitch and Put and a huge maze.
This haven for monkeys is located in beautiful woodland affording views over the gorgeous Cornish coast. There are 4 breeds of monkey cared for at the sanctuary, which has been open since 1964. The whole family will enjoy meeting the cheeky monkeys and the educational talks offer visitors the chance to learn about their natural habitat and the dangers they face in the wild. There is also a gift shop, café and picnic area.
Holywell Bay Fun Park is an excellent choice for a day of family fun and has something to amuse children of all ages. Highlights include the amazing maze, Lazer Shooting games. Bumper Boats, Go-Karts and there are even junior Go-Karts for the little ones. As well as the outdoor attractions there are a range of indoor activities ensuring that the weather never stops the fun. The large indoor soft play area has dedicated areas for different age groups and there is also a fantastic climbing wall and 18-hole pitch and putt.
Paradise Park first opened back in 1973 as a tropical bird garden and has since expanded to offer refuge to many different species of animal. The park aims to provide a fun and educational experience to its visitors and has daily talks and events to offer a more hands on approach. Playful otters, rare Cornish Chough, shy Red Pandas, and the beautiful native Red Squirrels can all be seen. There is also a fun farm area where younger children can get creative with crafting sessions during school holidays. The recent addition of the indoor Jungle Barn makes Paradise Park an excellent all weather attraction.
This amazing family day out has it all. From thrilling rides for kids and adults alike, as well as award winning gardens to stroll around this is one experience not to be missed. Some of the highlights include the Wildlife Experience Animal Show and the undercover re-creation of a World War II blitzed street. You can really get a hands on experience at this farm with the opportunity to stroke, feed, cuddle and learn about the animals. The Eden Project is a must visit attraction while in Cornwall offering a unique and educational as well as fun experience.
