Had a good holiday and would visit again. Grandchildren loved the poo. All staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely caravan with decking brilliant veiws across the bay car parking a little tight by the van as we were right at the end so had to do a little reversing .Well equiped full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, large range oven, a proper settee and chairs and dinning furniture,ie not fitted furniture.
What a fantastic holiday we had here. With kids aged 11, 3 and 20 months we were skeptical about whether this would keep all of them entertained but we were presently surprised. We stayed the week before peak season and although it specified that entertainment would be limited, we found it suited us perfectly. The Madness and Mayhem team, Mike and Kate, we're brilliant and always got them up to dance. There was an indoor soft play area and a great park in the grounds so there was always something to do.
The outdoor pool was heated although this is closed at certain times. This wasn't a problem though as it specifies this in the welcome pack and it's only for an hour at a time twice a day and they put on entertainment by the pool at these times.
We stayed in a silver caravan and the caravan far exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate on arrival with freshly laundered bed linen so no need to use the stuff we took from home. The only negative I could say is our oven didn't have any shelves so made cooking a bit more difficult but it was no big deal.
The clubhouse was modern and the food was lovely. The staff were fantastic and always happy to help.
The beach is a 5 minute walk and nice and secluded and it's a short 10 minute drive into Bridlington for the harbour. We found everything we needed within a 10 minute drive and found we had something to do everyday without having to go too far or spend a fortune.
All in all we had a brilliant holiday and will be heading back next year with the grandparents too.
If you're after a relaxing family holiday in beautiful surroundings then Barmston Beach is the place to go!
The caravan was second to none and there are no complaints.
Caravan was clean, looked like a new mattress and new crockery etc. Plenty of space for 2 plus 2 dogs.
