Camber Sands Holiday Park is set on a stunning part of the East Sussex coastline which means easy access to the miles of golden beaches and pretty seaside resorts such as Eastbourne and Hastings.
These resorts offer everything you need for a traditional British sea side holiday as well as many new attractions such as Sea World Aquarium at Hastings and the Smugglers’ Adventure in St Clements Caves. Underwater world at Hastings is an excellent family day trip where you can meet jelly fish sting rays and octopi. The ancient town of Rye is well worth a visit and is like a step back in time with its narrow, cobble streets and tiny shops. Fashionable Brighton is also close by and is a great place to visit if you are looking for unique shops as well as vibrant nightlife and some great restaurants.
There are many lovely places to visit inland too. Medieval Bodiam Castle is a great place for a family day trip and if nostalgia is your thing then you may also enjoy a visit to 1066 Country or enjoy a memorable steam train trip on the Bluebell Railway line.
Nature lovers may enjoy visiting one of the nature reserves in the area. Rye harbour nature reserve is made up of sand dunes and drainage ditches and is an unusual yet beautiful place to visit while Old Lodge nature reserve in Black Hill is famously a breeding ground for the beautiful Redstart and you may also spot Silver Studded blue butterflies.
