More cooking supply's need to be had as a frying pan and pot and a grill tray is not really ideal especially when you have a large fridge freezer so getting round that was a task. Site and views were amazing

Booked a 4 night off peak stay in a 2-bedroom caravan with decking. Got there a bit early and let reception know, but the caravan wasn’t ready at that point, however they contacted us as soon as it was ready which was before the check-in time of 4pm. Booked in and was allocated a two toilet 3-bedroom caravan with decking and parking space. The van was clean and spacious, full-size fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and oven, propane central heating, all very good. Kitchen had all the utensils required for self-catering including the all-important corkscrew and can opener. There was a very small bottle of washing up liquid in the kitchen but there was a brand-new dishcloth and bin liner provided. Beds were made up and as there was 2 of us, they made up one of the singles as well as the double, a nice touch as no assumptions of being a couple were made. Shower good too. One of the toilets was a little cramped but was fine for me at 5’1”, new toilet rolls in each would have been nice as one was over half used on arrival and there were no additional rolls provided. Although beds were made up towels and tea towels are NOT provided unless you order and pay for them so remember to take them with you.The weather at the beginning of the week was very wet and the steps into the caravan went directly into a big mud patch which flooded making getting in and out of the caravan treacherous and spread water and mud inside which was a real disappointment for the sake of an extra paving slab or two. Noticed some other vans on the site already had this area paved so a bit hit and miss and maybe on the list of things to do. Also, the mat inside the door was curling at the edges which was a trip hazard. There was parking next to our caravan which was good for unloading but I’m not sure there is allocated parking for all caravans.Did not use the pool, restaurant or entertainment venue as was there for a quiet break and not really into swimming. The on-site Wi-Fi was very expensive starting at £7.99 a day which is extortionate so used our own mobile data which was much cheaper as have an unlimited deal for £15 a month. There is also free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse but did not try it.Just be aware that the website says the beach and train station is close to hand, but if you are in a caravan on the far side of the site by reception (which is where most of the non-residential caravans are) the walk is probably almost a mile up and down the site so leave a good 20-30 mins if walking to catch a train.A clean tidy site and caravan which was excellent value with great reception staff, would probably go again.

The fist night was a bit cold the fire did not work and the heating was not working, but the next day I saw Martin the maintenance man passing by who was very helpful, he was on his way to another job but stopped and had a look at the problem the fire needed a new fitting which he sorted out and showed me how to operate the heating overall sorted in half a day 100% satisfaction.
The rest of our stay was just great we all had a fab time.

Susan
A good base for a holiday incorporating bike, walking and train service. Didn't use the restaurant or swimming pool.
Charlotte
Reception staff lovely and helpful. Especially the blonde hair lady.
PCV
Absolutely loved it here, the staff as so very helpful and friendly. The caravans spotless, as are the clubhouse and pool. My only complaint is that the children's play area is not suitable for children under 4, my little boy who is two really wanted to play in ther ruby he couldn't as it was too dangerous. You really need a bit for the younger kids.
Roswitha
Very clean caravan, everything we needed. Unfortunately I was unwell all the time there, so didn't manage to enjoy everything is as we really should have. After visiting hospital I was told to go for a follow up at my local one the next day, so we left very early. I left a note for customer service,in the caravan, stating what happened and that we would love to come back soon. But there was no acknowledgement. Hopefully we can go back and enjoy it fully. The only negative, TV reception was bad. We don't go away to watch TV, but as I was ill...
Philip
Very good site, excellent facilities and great staff.
Linda
Stayed in the DV caravans and were well equipped but one oddity, there was no teapot, just about everything else but no teapot and we had two caravans and the other one had no pot either. We loved the Bluetooth connection from our phones to the caravan speaker system, a real nice touch and an easy way to stream your music. A very nice site and fully recommended and would have loved to stay for 7 days however with things the way they are today I was lucky to afford 3 nights. Some of the family used the swimming pool with no complaints but bit strange you have to book in advance, a roll over from the Covid days I suppose. We did not use the onsite restaurant so no word on this from us.
Terry
Good caravan , helpful staff ,pool good and heated indoors and out, kids loved it
Caron
Caravan was spacious and clean. Supermarket less than 5 mins away. Close to beach. Entertainment great for both adults and kids. Swimming pool is partly under cover and water is warm. All round a great place to chill out and also have fun with the activities including bingo if you choose. Great menu in club House and reasonably priced if you choose to eat out.
Michael
Great time,fair prices,and nice people.
