The modern cottage style lodges have a cosy and charming feel and each comes with its own outdoor hot tub.
Just a ten minute drive from the M5 these lodges are very convenient but they feel as though they are in the middle of no-where in a peaceful and idyllic setting on the Devon/Somerset border. Exmoor and Dartmoor are within easy reach as are the Chedder Gorge Caves and the lovely golden Devonshire beaches. Other attractions locally include the Quantock Hills which are ideal for walking and the catherdral town of Wells which is just 25 miles away.
The cottage style lodges are decorated to a high standard and have DVD/TV, kitchen and some outdoor space with furniture. The Paddock, Barge, Flare, Towpath and Wicket all come with their very own gardens and BBQ.

Other attractions include the popular and somewhat educational Milking Show and the twice daily Bottle Feeding Show. For older kids the Big Cat rides which whiz around the farm are a fun way to explore.
Brean Leisure Park is a fantastic choice for a day trip featuring well over 30 rides and attractions. There are many traditional fairground rides for children to enjoy including waltzes, dodgems, and roller coasters! Those looking for a whiter knuckle experience could try the thrilling 'XTreme' ride which features a terrifying 130ft of fun. Other attractions include Canoe River which is a exciting river boat ride for younger children and the action packed Laser Quest which the whole family can enjoy together. There is also a amusement arcade with a range of slot machines and games.
Woodlands Leisure Park is THE place to go on rainy days! The amazing all weather attraction is packed with slides, chutes, ball pools, climbing frames and a circus train ride. If that is not enough there is also a fantastic "Zoo-in-a-Farm" and a reptile house where children will love meeting the creepy crawleys and unusual creatures. Younger children are not left out as they have their own wonderful Ice Palace to enjoy - one of the largest soft play areas in the UK.
Exmoor Zoo is one of the most popular Zoos in the UK and is packed with fun attractions. This Zoo is the only one where visitors are guaranteed to meet the elusive Exmoor Beast face to face. Exmoor Zoo prides itself on being different and offering a more personal touch. Talks and encounter sessions take place every half hour through the summertime making the Zoo and educational day out as well as a fun one.
Bicton Park and Gardens is a fantastic place for a family day out and is especially popular during the summer when the stunnig floral displays are at their best. The park has plenty of things for children to do including a couple of play areas and an 18 hole mini golf course, there is also a football pitch for the more energetic.
River Dart Country Park has over 90 acres of woods offering stunning scenic walks, beautiful lakes and open parkland. The park also has a good range of facilities for children including Jungle Ropes, Climbing Frames, Cargo Nets and a wooden Pirate Ship. For younger children there is a toddlers Play Area and a small Beach. During high season supervised activities may include the mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Rock Climbing.
The Walled Gardens of Cannington offer a range of attraction for adults and children alike. The grown ups will love to wander around the beautiful gardens taking in the stunning floral displays while the children will enjoy the garden games, nature trails and open space to run around. The site also has a picnic area and exhibitions and workshops can be enjoyed at peek times of the year.
The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash.
