Sandy Bay holiday park makes a great place to visit if you are looking for a UK holiday on a budget.  The caravans are well equipped and well located with the park itself overlooking a sandy bay.  Some of the highlights of Sandy Bay holiday park include the indoor pool, the Sparkys Krew kids club and the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant.  The Beach Showbar is the place to head for some evening entertainment including cabarets.

There are a large selection of 2 and 3 bed caravans on offer which all have TV, kitchen with microwave as well as bathroom facilities including a shower. Prices start from just £21 per night at the time of writing which makes this place real value for money.

Outside the park there are some fun family days out within easy reach.  Apart from the local beach which is perfect for sunny days, there are plenty of local places to visit including Alnwick Gardens, the setting for Hogwarts in Harry Potter films.

A lovely clean caravan..... no evidence that pets have ever stayed in it..... not being pet owners ourselves.

The caravan was great. We had to chase up the travel cot we requested a couple of times and there was no gas but they replaced the cylinder quickly. After that everything was fine. No great view though.

the only thing we had a problem with was the gas cooker the numbers on the oven dial had wore off so it was a guessing game what temp to cook at .

The caravan was absolutely spotlessly clean - and we mean sparkling! The cleanest accommodation we've ever stayed in so a huge well done to the maintenance team!

Our only minor gripes were that we had to hunt for something to light the oven with (eventually borrowing a lighter from behind the bar) and the sheet on the double bed was too small for the mattress and kept slipping off. Any chance you could get bigger sheets?
