We were unable to use the on site restaurant as we had our little dog with us & welcome info in the cabin said "don't leave pets unattended in the cabin".

We did ask at the restaurant if we could eat , as it was almost empty but we were declined. Bearing in mind our dog is only 4kg and sits in my handbag and we spent on avarage £ 50-60 each night on food. Potentially we would have spent £ 150- 180 in the restaurant.

However there are plenty of places on Whooler high street that realise that people with dogs still need to eat, so all our eating out was off site. It appears that the restaurant is losing out on a lot of business as the weather does not always permit sitting outside to eat.

A great place to get away from it all. The caravan was superb. Would have preferred a real gas fire as opposed to the fancy dancy electric one.
