We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay in a Lodge again. Falcon Lodge number 3 does not have a hot tub but this didn't bother us at all. We usually book one of the log cabins which are great but this was a last minute booking and we booked the last available Lodge.

Have holiday there for a number of years. First time we’ve had To complain about the cleanliness of the saucepans that all had to be washed before we could use them. In a time of being extra clean we did not expect this and was very disappointed.

Fantastic caravan - Eagle Premium- new and immaculate. Difficult to comment on facilities due to Covid restrictions. Take away food was excellent and nice to have an outdoor bar. Free site WiFi was awful and couldn’t access our own networks although it was available in the village not far away. Location is very quiet with just a pub and a post office/shop. Nice long walk to the beach on another campsite with a good pub/restaurant. Close to places to visit like Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge, Aberaeron and New Quay.

The caravan was absolutely spotless. I would say it's the best caravan we have stayed in. It was comfortable with all facilities needed. The fixtures and fittings were of excellent quality. It was lovely to arrive and relax straight away.

The cabin was clean and had everything your stay needed, the only thing we was a little sad about was the hot tub the jets wasn't very powerful so it got colder quicker and felt more like bath water.

Utensils could do with updating the knives were blunt and unable to cut with them, could add a pizza cutter i had to use a sissors. I had to clean the nest of tables before i could use them as there was something sticky all over them. However i really enjoyed my time here and cant wait to plan my next visit.

Absolutely beautiful site with very friendly and helpful staff.
My only criticism (which is small) is the pool are was dark in late afternoon so difficult to see my children while we were in the pool. I did not realise we would have to pay extra for the jacuzzi- only ?1 for 10 minutes but a bit inconvenient).
Victoria, Lowestoft
Date of stay: 25th October 2019
Windows were a little stiff to open, tv only had bbc1 or bbc2 to watch, WiFi signal only worked well whilst sitting out front, opening the sky light about 20 flies drop in. But on the whole it was beautiful, serene, calming and comfortable
Joanne
Park was lovely and quiet exactly what we wanted. Pool was great and lady at reception really helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay. Jo

Penrhos is a caravan park on a golf course, which made for beautiful green surroundings. The location is lovely, staff all really helpful and welcoming. There is no WiFi at all, so leave those devices and have a break. Shops, takeaways etc. are about twenty minutes away so ensure you have enough provisions for your first night before venturing out. We never ate at the restaurant but the gin was fantastic and staff were so lovely and helpful. My children enjoyed the pool most days as well, there is a jacuzzi as well. We all really enjoyed Penrhos and would visit again.

We had a lovely time at Penrhos. The caravan was clean, the pool was brilliant and the food was really good quality. The park was quiet and tucked away and there is a lovely walk down to the beach and village of llanrhystud. The children’s play park is geared for very young children and could do with children's swings and perhaps a climbing frame for the 4-10 year old age groups. The Wi-Fi is poor and a bit of a let down but overall a lovely holiday and we would definately come again
Emma
Lovely clean and well kept park friendly staff great food lovely accommodation have already booked for next year
Stuart
Nice area, facilities are good, cleanliness of caravan not great, found a vape from previous guests down between the seats in lounge, and other cleaning issues
Gill
Another amazing stay at Penrhos. Loved the new lodges interior and addition of WiFi to the lodges was a bonus for the kids. Will be back again
Sarah
We had a lovely week at Penrhos Park, staying in Kestrel 1. Weather was fantastic all week so we didn't really use the onsite facilities. The lodge gets the sun all day out the front from dawn til dusk with beautiful views of the Welsh hills. The location was just right for us - 5 mins drive to a lovely little pebble beach, perfect for paddle boarding and catching small waves. Aberystwyth is 20 mins away with all the shops you could need and Aberaeron is 10 mins with it's lovely restaurants and fish and chips! The lodge was clean, spacious and comfortable with a TV in the lounge and master bedroom, hot tub was lovely. Double bed comfy, singles not so. Kitchen could use basic items like a baking tray and oven gloves. All staff were really friendly but restaurant service was a bit disappointing. There's a new take-away menu on the website but when we tried to order we were told only pizza was available. The pizza was okay, nothing special, we felt it was a bit overpriced. Tried to get lunch on the terrace one day and was told they were only doing rolls and a bag of crisps - we went elsewhere. All in all a fab holiday and somewhere we would come again, a few simple tweaks would make it perfect!
Nilesh
Excellent park with great swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The accommodation was lovely and clean. Highly recommended. Limited activities for young kids/teens as no children's clubs or evening entertainment.
Frank
For a family wanting a quiet location with great facilities and great staff, look no further. The park is very quiet and you have free access to the swimming pool and gym. The restaurant is small but the food was fantastic. Be aware that you have to drive most places for attractions etc though. We will be back for sure.
Lisa
Wonderful resort so peaceful central to all beaches in the west wales area and totally child friendly. Lodge was superb 5 ?????
Eileen
Beautiful find for a relaxed long weekend in wonderful surroundings
