Glenluce Holiday Park in Wigtownshire is a breath of fresh air - literally! As far as holidays go, this is a pretty perfect setting in the grounds of the former Balkail Mansion and close to Galloway Forest - for outdoor activities and exploring.

Landmark Theme Park is a good place to visit if you have children of different ages as there are numerous activities to enjoy for all ages and abilities. This is a theme park with a difference and an emphasis on nature. Rock Climbing, Tree Topping and Flume Rides are just some of the attractions and kids will also enjoy meeting the Red Squirrels, Clydesdale Horses and learning the secrets of Scotland's ancient Pine Forest. There is also a well stocked Gift Shop on site a Restaurant and the new Pinewood Grill snack bar.
Loudoun Castle Theme Park This is Scotland's largest theme park set in 500 acres of beautiful Ayrshire countryside. The park has rides and attractions for all age groups including the very popular 'Walk the Plank' High Dive Show and the thrilling Barnstormer - a 40m Shoot and Drop Tower which is not for the faint hearted! Younger children will love exploring Dougal McDougal's farm area and meeting the affectionate animals which include goats, ponies, lambs, pigs, llamas, rabbits and small pets! With over 30 rides and attractions, Loudoun Castle is definitely a day out with something for everyone.
James Hamilton Heritage Park has been awarded 4 Stars by the prestigious Visit Scotland Board and is a must visit attraction if you are in the area. The site features a gorgeous 16acre loch offering an exciting range of watersports including Canoeing and Windsurfing. Children and adults can enjoy taster sessions of most activities. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.
