Fun Days Out in Wigtownshire
Landmark Theme Park is a good place to visit if you have children of different ages as there are numerous activities to enjoy for all ages and abilities. Younger children will love exploring Dougal McDougal's farm area and meeting the affectionate animals which include goats, ponies, lambs, pigs, llamas, rabbits and small pets! With over 30 rides and attractions, Loudoun Castle is definitely a day out with something for everyone.
James Hamilton Heritage Park has been awarded 4 Stars by the prestigious Visit Scotland Board and is a must visit attraction if you are in the area. The site features a gorgeous 16acre loch offering an exciting range of watersports including Canoeing and Windsurfing. Children and adults can enjoy taster sessions of most activities. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.
