This peaceful park sits in 30 acres of tranquil grassland and is situated opposite the impressive Elvaston Castle and its beautiful grade II listed gardens. Located on the edge of the Peak District, Beechwood Park is within easy access of both Derby and Nottingham.

This is a superb base for exploring the spectacular scenery and traditional villages and towns of the Peak District. Walks and a host of outdoor pursuits are in the area. Drayton Manor Theme park, Donington race track and the National Watersports. Onsite there are no less than 5 fishing lakes as well as a family Go-Kart track.

There are a range of lodges to choose from including the top of the range which sleeps up to 6 people. This spacious lodge has two double bedrooms, one with ensuite and one twin bedroom. Woodpecker Lodges also sleep 6 while the smaller Swallow lodges sleep 4 and have one double and one twin bedroom. All of the lodges are comfortably furnished and have well equipped kitchens with all the self catering essentials. The lodges also have heating throughout making them cosy all year round.

Gullivers Kingdom

This amazing theme park will keep the whole family entertained with an array of rides, attractions, restaurants and shops.  Split into exciting areas such as Fantasy Terrace and Western World you will come away from this place with plenty of fun memories.  Younger children will enjoy meeting the characters Dora the Explorer and Gully & Gilly Mouse.

Denby Visitor Centre

With a convenient location in the heart of Derbyshire you can enjoy a family day out here with a quaint cobbled courtyard setting, shops, pottery tours and free daily cooking demonstrations.  Open all year round this is a good free attraction although the craftroom tour is chargeable.

Need a few more things in the kitchen ie egg cups a measuring jug sharp knife other than a bread knife ,lovely lodge on the whole

Beechwood Park is a very peaceful tranquil place to stay. The Lodge is clean and comfy. The fishing lakes are great. Please remove go karting from the description - there isn't any. It closed years ago.
