Just four miles from Great Yarmouth, Breydon Water consists of two parks - Bure Village and Yare Village - with plenty of facilities at both. The seaside town of Lowestoft and Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park are both within easy reach and there's plenty to see and do in Norfolk - Norwich with its great castle and Aviation Museum is within 20 miles.

Breydon Water has indoor and outdoor heated pools, a fully equipped gym and a family showbar with live entertainment. There's plenty for the kids to do - with an all-weather multi-sports court, an adventure playground and a sports and leisure programme. All the facilities you need are on the park - a convenience store, bar, restaurant and a small shop.

Hoveton is a superior 12 foot wide caravan with one double room and one single. It offers spacious family accommodation and has room in the lounge area for two more guests to sleep. There's double glazing and central heating, a family bathroom with shower and a well equipped kitchen with a microwave.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden has over three miles of delightful walks with superb views across South Walsham Inner Broad. There's a gorgeous 15 acre garden at Hoveton Hall in Wroxham with stunning flower displays all year round. You can go fishing, play golf at Costessey Park - and try your hand at off-road biking at Whitlingham Adventure Centre.

Fun Days Out in Norfolk

This zoo is based in the Banham area of Norfolk as the name suggests, and has actually been described as one of the most exciting wildlife attractions in the country.  Located amidst 35 acres of parkland the setting is certainly spectacular.  With over 1000 animals from big cats to birds of prey - this is an education as well as a fun day out. Younger children will love the indoor soft play area and the Tarzan Towers adventure play area.

This is one of the most popular days out in Norfolk and will appeal to the whole family.  You can explore the history of Dinosaurs on the fun Dinosaur trail and discover more animals in the Secret Animal Garden.  We think this adventure park is excellent value for money.  For an small additional charge you could take part in the Deer Safari which we think is well worth doing. As described on their own website this really is a "Monster Day Out".

The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

Nice place to stay with the kids, went for short break & booked a week for next year before we left. 🙂
Peter
The site is quite but busy if you know what I mean!. We used the restaurant & bar a couple of times which was fairly priced. The caravan was very well presented but was looking a bit tired from when we last stayed in it. We late booked a Mon-Fri but wished we had gone for the full seven days, as there is so much to do & see around the area.
Tracey

Chris
Great holiday , staff where fantastic, Liam and ruby and meradith are great with the kids very happy
John
The kids fell in love with the place as soon as they saw the heated outdoor swimming pool. the whole check-in process was excellent and took about 5 minutes. The caravan was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We didn't eat in the bar, but the food we saw looked good. We enjoyed it there so much we have already booked for next year.
