Northumberland has the most beautiful coastline and you're just a stone's throw from a lovely beach at Crimdon Dene. It's well situated to explore the surrounding area - Hartlepool has plenty of historic attractions from the Historic Quay and Museum to the Maritime Experience, a superb re-creation of an 18th century seaport that tells the story of life at sea two hundred years ago.

The park has a small indoor heated fun pool with spa bath, an all-weather sports court, outdoor play area for the kids and an amusement arcade. There's also a great restaurant and bar, the Boathouse, and you can enjoy nightly family entertainment at the Ocean Edge Showbar. Durham is just 30 minutes away with its stunning castle and cathedral.

Accommodation here ranges from caravans to luxury lodges. Why not make your holiday extra special and stay in Norham, a lodge that sleeps up to four people with one double bedroom and one twin. It's double glazed, centrally heated and has a TV, shower and well equipped kitchen with microwave.

Northumberland has some of the UK's finest beaches. At Crimdon, South Beach is very popular - it's long and sandy and leads to the Durham Coast National Nature Reserve. The beautiful nature reserve at Salthome is home to butterflies, swans and stunning orchids and you'll be spoilt for choice with walking trails.

Our Top Tip
"Take the circular walk from Roseberry Topping and see Captain Cook's monument."

As well as all the other points the maintenance staff were fantastic we had a problem with the boiler staying lit and they must of been out 3 or 4 times to get it right really appreciated that.

Fantastic value for money! After spending years in lodges this was the first caravan in many years. I would probably say it was the best caravan we have ever stayed in. We backed onto the railway line but the double glazing excluded 90% of the noise from the passing trains.

Fantastic place, we have been 3 times now and plan on coming back next year...We had a lodge this time and couldn't fault it, so clean and luxurious, absolutely beautiful, could of stayed a lot longer..
Eva
Very nice site with easy access to attractions in the nearby area.
Nicola
Was surprised and pleased with this site, had 2 parks and a shop which I expected then found it had an entertainment building with a restaurant, showbar, arcades and swimming pool. The arcades was small but had plenty of 2p machines which is a parents godsend and the restaurant cost was similar to a wetherspoons so not too bad, only downside was the wait for meals which was an hour on the Tuesday. The site was quiet although quite large and it was right on top of the beach with easy access, there was a couple of local takeaways and an asda 10 mins away. The caravan was clean and well equipt and as a huge bonus beds were made up on arrival.
Elizabeth
Caravan was well equipped and in great spot , staff in reception were fab , club house good. Nice walks plus was a bonus that weather was really good .
