There is a huge range of holiday parks to choose from throughout the UK. From peaceful countryside locations to lively beach side breaks there is something for everyone.
Just some of our favourite holiday parks to consider for Half Term are:-
New Beach Holiday Park in Kent
With a wonderful location in Dymchurch Kent on the South East Coast you will be in the perfect place to explore the local area or even have a jaunt to France for the day! But you may not even wish to leave the holiday park with so much on offer. This lively park has much to offer families with an indoor heated pool, kids club and live entertainment. There is also wifi access within the club. Please note that entertainment and kids clubs are daily in peak holiday seasons only and then weekends only outside of these dates.
Accommodation is in comfortable and well equipped cedar chalets and caravans, ideal for families. We like the New Beach Silver 2 chalet which sleeps 4. This semi detached accommodation offers a lovely base for your stay with TV and well equipped kitchen with microwave. In the local area there are some fantastic days out including Port Lympne Wild Animal Park less than 3 miles from New Beach, and Ash Coombe Vineyard in Canterbury around 20 miles from the park.
Seawick St Osyth in Essex
There is so much to do at Seawick St Osyth you’ll struggle to decide what to try first. With a fun packed entertainments programme and heated swimming pools this park is perfect for families. You can enjoy your holiday at your own pace. Relax in one of the entertainment venues or take a stroll on the beach if you want to take it easy. For the more active there are pools and sports facilities. The whole family can enjoy the Bowlingo. When it comes to dining as a family head for the The Essex Seagull Bar and Grill with restaurant for a delicious range of food served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Accommodation is a range of two bedroom chalets or two and three bedroom caravans. We like the Seawick Bronze 2 Chalet Bungalow which is excellent value for money and sleeps 4. The chalet enjoys a rural setting and has one double and one twin bedroom. All accommodation has TV and well equipped kitchen with microwave.
Felixstowe Beach in Suffolk
This fun-packed holiday park is ideal for families looking for a budget break. The location is perfect for getting out and exploring as it’s just a short stroll from the popular resort of Felixstowe. There you will find many eateries as well as parks and gardens. If you like to shop then there’s a good range of shops there too. Of course you might not wish to leave the park at all with so much to do on site.
The indoor swimming pool is great for all weather fun and kids will love the mini slide and paddling pool. Other activities include kids club and adventure playground. Accommodation at Felixstowe Beach is spacious and includes two and three bedroom caravans. The Felix Bromze 2 Caravan sleeps up to 6 and is excellent value for money. With one double and two twin bedrooms this will suit larger parties. All accommodation has TV, kitchen and microwave with gas and electricity included in the price.
Withernsea Sands in Yorkshire
This lively park has something for everyone. We love the indoor heated swimming pool where the whole family can enjoy splashing around. The more active will love the sports court and there’s even a Sports Resort Programme of activities. After a busy day head to the Boathouse Restaurant and Tavern with entertainment where you can sit back with a relaxing drink and be entertained. The restaurant is the ideal place for a relaxing family meal to catch up on the days events.
Choose to stay in two or three bedroom caravans with TV and well equipped kitchens. Travel cots can be hired for a small charge. The local area is perfect for exploring. Some great days out close to Withernsea Sands include East Park in Hull and Pleasure Island at Cleethorpes. If you like shopping head for the Freeport Hornsea for factory outlet bargains in a lovely shopping environment.
