Foxhunter Park
The superb facilities at Foxhunter Park make this holiday destination perfect for families. It's close to the busy town of Ramsgate where you'll find a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops - and within easy reach of some of Kent's most beautiful beaches and popular resorts like Margate, Herne Bay and Broadstairs.
With an outdoor heated pool and Roman whirlpool, a kids' pool and adventure playground, amusements and tennis as well as a bar and clubhouse with entertainment, you won't be short of things to do here at Foxhunter Park! Canterbury is within easy reach, as is Wildwood at Herne Bay with its animal-themed activities and events.
The Canterbury Caravan is 12 feet wide and sleeps six people in one double bedroom and two twins. It is double glazed, centrally heated and well laid out with a fully equipped kitchen. There is also garden furniture for comfortable outdoor seating as well as an additional toilet.
You could easily take a day trip to France on the Eurostar from Ashford, or by ferry from Dover, Folkestone or Ramsgate. For water-based fun closer to home, try a seal watching boat ride from Ramsgate.

Fun Days Out in Kent
If you have young children and are wondering what to do on a rainy day then Imagine Playcentre - Kent's biggest indoor children's adventure play centre is THE place to head! The huge indoor site is ideal for children under 12 and offers a huge 3 level play structure, a triple storey wave slide, bouncy trampolines, a large padded sports area for football and other games as well as a dedicated Babies and toddlers soft play areas. While the kids are running wild adults can relax in the comfy seating area and enjoy a tasty meal or snack.
A visit to Wildwood is an excellent way to teach the kids about nature while enjoying a fun day out. The centre for wildlife offers a good range of animal themed family friendly activities with most going on at weekends and during school holidays. Animal talks and feeds are popular and other activities may include learning to speak wolf, or meeting a beautiful Owl. Crafting activities are also on offer and give children the chance to make a souvenir to take home.
Brockhill Country Park once formed part of a large estate dating right back to Norman times. Today the old manor house is part of Brockhill School but the grounds are still open to the public and are a popular place to enjoy a picnic on a summer day. The park is abundant with wildlife including butterflies and birds.
